Answered Request for Proposal (RFP) for program and was granted the RFP. Star
ted up agency, formed Board of Directors, led agency from a public mental health
program ran by the county to a private non-profit mental health program. Wrot
e policies and procedures for the agency. Set up benefit plan for the agency b
y obtaining group health insurance, 401 K plan, professional liability, worker's
compensation, property and vehicle insurance for the agency. Managed employe
es, finances of the organization, reported to a volunteer Board of Directors, cr
eated and oversaw budget of up to $370,000, hired and fired employees, oversaw d
ay to day activities of psychosocial rehabilitation day program for adults who h
ave a severe and persistent mental illness, planed and oversaw fundraisers, inte

g of organization. Obtained Medicaid authorizations for 55 consumers through
Value Options every 3 months. Held team meetings, wrote Person Centered Plans
