focus was the origination and closing of personal loans, home equity lines of cr
edit and closed end mortgage loans secured by deeds of trust. We also concentrat
ed on the collection of loans and customer service. We had an aggressive marketi
ng campaign that included telephone solicitation, mail solicitation and customer
referrals. I received many awards and certificates during my tenure with Househ
old. We had a high tech computer system that was constantly being updated. My re
sponsibilities included the training of personnel on current IT issues and maint
aining the relationship with the Home Office and the branch network. In 10/2002
household was sold to HSBC bank-UK. At this point I separated from the company t
o pursue other interest and achieved fully vested retirement. I can provide a li

Barson Financial Services- Clemmons N.C .Assigned as a Mortgage broker and was t
he office manager. Hire date: 1/7/2004 until 4/27/2008. Considered self employ
ed and enjoyed a lucrative income and had outstanding results. During late 2006
the Mortgage Industry collapsed in the United States and Barson Financial Servic
es closed in 2008.

PGT INDUSTRIES- Salisbury N.C.as a Manager Trainee in the shipping and receiving
department. Hire Date: 4/27/2008 until 4/27/2009. During this time I committed
to a 1 year assignment in the Glass window and Glass door industry. PGT special
izes in Hurricane strength tempered glass and doors. With the lack of major Hurr
icanes over the past several years PGT has struggled financially in both the Ven
ice FLA location and the Salisbury location. Volunteer layoffs, numerous managem
ent adjustments lead me to leave the company and I have been receiving unemploym
ent for the past year. My rotation within the shipping department allowed me to
obtain valuable training by becoming certified to operate a forklift. I also be
came proficient at the UPS world ship website along with Conway Shipping website
. I was also able to improve my skills with Microsoft office, including word an
d excel.

Education: The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I was a Member of the
elite PSI DELTA Chapter of the CHI PHI social Fraternity. I graduated with a Bac
helors of Arts degree in Business Administration. In the Business Policy Class I
won the "Mock" business contest awarded to the student that chose a business an
d conducted all phases of running a business. The task involved all accounting,
marketing, HR, advertising and the bottom line-PROFIT. The class had over 50 stu
dents and I was the WINNER by a large margin. I always worked full time in the r
estaurant business as a bartender, bar manager, waiter or fine dining waiter whi
le attending both colleges.
