During that time I worked in several areas of the bank. I started as a Microfilm Clerk. From there I moved into the Transit Department, (processing all the checks, and deposits, and daily transactions of the customer s.) Then I was put into the Computer Department, where I did all the data entry for the bank daily. I then moved into the Mortgage Loan dept, where I typed up the mortgage document s, and paper work, did filing, ect . Then I went to the Installment Loan Dept, I did the same thing there as the Mort gage Loan Dept. I also did collections on a small scale. In 1985, I was hired into First Federal S&L I worked there till 1991. At First Federal I began as a teller, after 2 years, they moved me into the acco unting department, where I did several jobs, such as posting all the daily infor mation, to the accounts of the bank. Also I was the Collections manager for the Insufficient Funds department, I worked with customers to help them fix their ac counts, if that was possible, If not, then I had to close their accounts, and ad vise them on a better way to handle their money. I also took care of the large mailings that First Federal had to send twice a mo nth. Presorting mail ect...I also did many other jobs for that institution. During that time I also took many Computer Programming courses at the local coll ege, and Accounting courses... Since I achieved a 4.0 GPA, the institution paid for everything. In 1991 I was accepted to become a franchisee for a Seven Eleven Store in my com munity, which I owned and operated for ten years. I had 8 to 15 employees at all times.
