Managed the design and rollout of Windows 2003 Active Directory for all enterprise servers. Planned an infrastructure upgrade to gigabit Ethernet in a computer room and implemented multi-link trunking between floors collapsed back to the computer room for increased throughput. Upgraded infrastructure to include a layer 3 switch at the core and switched 100 at the closet, updated wiring throughout the firm, and

created all network and system documentation. Served as project lead on a remote client rollout for international dialing capabilities for all traveling attorneys; used a VPN secure tunnel into the firm's intranet for e-mail access and document checkout. Managed Checkpoint Clustered Firewalls w/BGP failover between 2 ISPs. Also applied QOS algorithms to Internet circuits to insure desired traffic flow using Checkpoint Management Tool.


NETWORK MANAGER Fredrikson plans expansions, rollouts, and upgrades; and acquires new systems. Oversees all data center operations and the computer room (systems, security, cooling, Halon, etc).

IT MANAGER Survivalink Corporation 1996-1997 Started up and managed an internal IT department: implemented policies for documentation, purchasing, and vendor management; set up administration duties and initiated budgets for LAN, WAN, and phone systems; planned growth paths for systems to facilitate future business expansion; and established a help desk. Administered a LAN/WAN with 100 local nodes and 20 remote distribution points.
