How to Apply for a Lost and Duplicate PAN

Card?
Finding an old PAN number is impossible as it is not possible for everyone to commit to memory the unique 11 digit
number that was allotted to them by the income tax authorities. Many people also end up losing their PAN card
which makes it difficult for them to make any financial transactions unless they have a new one in place. In the
absence of a PAN card, they cannot even undertake basic purchases or even open an urgent bank account or even
apply for a mutual fund scheme if they wish to do so.

Take the help of a broker
It is difficult to get a new number in the event of a loss of proof that got you the PAN card in the first place. It is also
not easy to keep track of all the proofs you had furnished to get the PAN card. Losing can lead to miseries as finding
a new one can be very tedious. The only way you can get your old PAN number is by taking the help of brokers who
are experienced in the job. They are your best bet for locating the old PAN number even if you remember nothing
about it.
It is impossible to carry on any kind of economic activity without a PAN card and you could be the one if you are
faced with a situation where you cannot remember your own PAN number. It could also happen that you might want
to know your PAN either online or offline. There might be brokers on the internet who can offer fantastic services for
income tax paying individuals who have lost their PAN cards.
In recent years, the income tax authorities have facilitated the process of finding the old PAN. The brokers who offer
their services online will help retrieve your PAN. In case you cannot get it back online after putting in your questions
or inquiry, you can always call up at the numbers provided in their website or send them a query. It is easy to locate
old PAN if you have lost it or do not remember any information that you had provided before getting one issued.
Quote basic information
The broker you approach will provide links that will help you access the missing number at the quickest possible
time. You can easily find your pan details online and take print outs of the information which will help locate online. It
is easy as once you can get the information, you can easily fill out the details as well to get your PAN card.
You can also apply directly to the government, but it is a time taking operation as they have too much on their hands.
In case you have an urgency to get the PAN as quickly as possible, it is best to take the help of a broker who can
make life easy for you. It is very hard to perform basic financial transactions without a pan card. The first thing that
you would be asked is to provide a pan card upfront even for buying a new mobile phone.
The problem has been simplified because the primary information that got you the PAN card is known to you. You
will be asked the same information in the event of a loss of card. To find the pan card, you can simply quote your
address which you have used to get the card or your date of birth, which again you will not forget. There are many
ways to lookup your pan number, but taking the help of a broker can be the easiest and more convenient way to get
it done.
