Please note: It is expected that the applicants submit independent artistic works which illustrate certain interests, realisations and motivations as well as methods of work. The selection of works should be based on the applicant´s own artistic practice. It is recommended that works, which have been produced in secondary school or various artcourses, be submitted only when they support the applicant´s own personal artistic position. The work samples should serve to demonstrate the applicant´s aptitude for independent artistic thinking and working, there are no requirements concerning quantitiy or size. However, due to technical reasons online submissions have to be limited to 1 GB. Viewing of submitted works: April 28 – May 3, 2011 (without applicants) Announcement of the preliminary results: May 4, 2011 All applicants will be notified by e-mail about the preliminary results and the list of those invited to take the entrance examination will be published on the official Academy notice board. The works of applicants who have not been invited to take the entrance examination must be retrieved in person between 10 am and 4 pm on May 4, 5, or 6, 2011 at Lehargasse 8/2nd floor, 1060 Wien.
