Coal Gasification Plant, East Alton, Illinois Client: Allis-Chalmers Corp. Work involved the planning, estimating, and scheduling of the coal gasification plant to be built in East Alton, Ill. Interacted with process engineers to learn the process, equipment, and develop a schedule by which to plan the fast track engineering and construction. There were numerous trips to the architects and en gineers for the project. Became Vice President of "KilnGas R & D Inc. - a wholly owned Subsidiary of Allis Chamers Corp. in the spring of 1981. Primary on-site responsibilities included establishing the jobsite office, procedures, policies, and managerial systems and project controls required for the construction of th e plant.
