District Manager--- Six years--- Responsible for twelve branches in Oregon and S W Washington. Duties included managing a $25-30 million dollar a year budget fo r region. Forecasting and presenting budgets for twelve branches. Managing all aspects of equipment procurement, depletion, additions, sales, leasing, renting for assigned territory with a fleet value of $50 million plus. Hiring and dismi ssing of employees in assigned areas. Motivating branch managers on a daily/wee kly/monthly basis to promote sales/safety and grow their business. Work closely with corporate personnel (South Carolina) on HR, Salaries, Branch Audits, Invent ory control, safety programs. Conducted branch safety audits on drivers, shop fa cilities and jobsites. Worked closely with Regional safety manager to ensure pol icies and procedures were being adhered too. Worked closely with V.P. of Wester n region (seven states) to ensure proper implementation of programs were followe d and quotas met.
