* Bosch Trouble Ticket System was developed to create, track and manage tickets related to Bosch auto products sold all over the world. The system is used by multiple workshops in different countries who are authorized to service vehicles with Bosch auto parts and who have subscribed to use this system. * The system is supported in over 20 different languages with modules such as User Registration and Administration, Interface with Diss-SAP, Reports, Knowledge database lifecycle and maintenance, Master data maintenance, Ticket data export and import, Batch jobs, etc. * Initial role in the project was to design the system, implement it and provide production support. Also handled change requests and worked on new releases for the system with added functionalities like ticket state management and reporting module. * Worked with sd&m ( a company of Capgemini) at their Stuttgart, Germany office for designing the system and implementing the first phase of the project. * As a Tech Lead was responsible for overall delivery of the releases, managing tasks like estimation, planning, work allocation and production deployments. * E&J Gallo is a leading wine producer in the US. Their existing system (developed in DEC) has been running in production for over 30 years * But due to unavailability of hardware and support system they are developing a new system using Java Technology * Role in this project was to initially take inputs from the onsite consultant and work along with the offshore development team. Handled all the technical and functional requirements from the onsite consultant to ensure timely delivery of the modules, was involved in coding and testing. * Managed an offshore team of 3 as the Team Lead for the project for a period of 5 months. * Worked as onsite project lead, responsible for requirements gathering, analysis, guiding the offshore team in their development, testing and integration of modules and providing support for modules that are live on production.
