Dear Student,

Congratulations for enrolling into the Admissions Counselling Service (ACS) with Manya Education Private
Limited (for future references we will use MEPL). We really look forward to working with you (i.e. the
applicant) to assist you in the realisation of your career dreams, by providing a wide array of tailor-made
services encompassing comprehensive admissions strategies, admissions counselling and all-round
assistance for study abroad.

In this letter, we have listed down details of our services and the associated terms and conditions.
Pursuing higher studies (BS/BA/MBA/MS/PhD) from a foreign university is no mean feat. An applicant is
supposed to arrive at appropriate decisions in terms of selecting universities, writing application drafts,
tackling interview sessions with Admissions Committee/University Representatives, applying for a student
visa, obtaining funding etc, in order to secure admission at the university of his/her choice. The entire
future of an applicant depends on this. The applicant cannot afford to leave any stone unturned to realise
his/her dream. In order to ensure that an applicant treads along the right path, our Admissions
Counselling Service comes to the applicant’s assistance. Ours is a comprehensive package designed to
service the applicant in the following aspects. Also, carefully look at the terms and conditions set out in
the ACS contract attached with this letter, before signing the same:

Step I - Profiling and University Selection

Selecting appropriate universities is the first and foremost step that will determine an applicant’s
ultimate success. An applicant needs to select the right kind of schools/universities to which he/she
should apply. This is a daunting task. To ease the applicant’s burden, a competent Admissions Counselor
will be assigned to help him/her with Profiling (university selection). Our Admission Counselors are
experts who are well-versed with the application procedures prevalent in foreign universities. The
admissions counselor will study the applicant’s profile in detail, evaluate the applicant’s academic scores,
standardized test (SAT/GMAT/GRE/TOEFL/IELTS) scores, professional work experience (if any),
extracurricular and personal activities, special talents and courses that applicant intend to take. Based on
these critical factors, the applicant’s Admission Counselor will provide the applicant a shortlist comprising
of 10 - 12 universities (a shortlist may have less than 10-12 universities in case the country that the
applicant is planning to study in has limited options to apply to).

The universities present in a shortlist will be categorised into three types*:

Dream (less than 50% chances of obtaining admission,
Reach (50 - 80% chances of obtaining admission) and
Safe (more than 80% chances of obtaining admission)

*the above categorisation is based upon MEPL’s experience and past placement record

University Selection: Out of those 10 – 12 universities, the applicant needs to select 5 universities for
which we will provide counselling services. In this case the applicant needs to ideally select 2 Dream
Universities, 2 Reach Universities and 1 Safe University. We recommend that the applicant finalises the
universities after applicant receive the first shortlist.

Step 2 - Editing
Once the applicant finalises the required number of universities based on the proposed shortlist sent by
the admissions counselor, an editor is assigned to help the applicant handle editing work of application
essays. The Editor will assist the applicant by editing drafts for application essays, resume, statements of
purpose (SOP) and letters of recommendations etc. The editor critiques the application essays that the
applicant provides us, after thoroughly understanding the applicant’s profile. He/she then edits the essays
written/drafted by the applicant, to improve upon content, grammar, tone and structure. The purpose is
to produce drafts wherein the applicant’s personality & profile get reflected in the best possible manner.

Step 3 - Application Review and Assistance
The following services will be provided to applicant:
1. Application links and deadlines for the finalised universities will be emailed to the applicant.
2. University Application Review (applicant needs to fill the application and provide us the
University Application ID and Password in the case of online applications).
3. Email formats which the applicant can use while contacting university professors and Indian
students studying in a particular foreign university.

Step 4 - Interview Preparation

Once the applicant receives an interview call from a university, we will conduct interview training for
applicant which will help applicant in preparing for actual University interview. We usually provide each
applicant with up to 3 interview preparatory sessions irrespective of the number of universities. In case of
special interviews like case studies, group discussions etc. we will provide the applicant additional 2 hours
of interview preparation.

Step 5 - Visa Counselling

We assist the applicant in preparing for the visa interview, familiarizing the applicant with the type of
questions that are frequently asked and meticulously explaining to the applicant how to confidently
answer such questions. A visa specialist is assigned to handle the visa counselling case. We help the
applicant prepare academic & financial documents in a logical way so the applicant can present them
efficiently to the High commission/respective vendor which processes visa applications on its behalf.

All the above-mentioned points are applicable in case the applicant applies for the full ACS
premium package (i.e. the standard package). In case the applicant opts for specific services, the
applicant will be entitled to specific services only depending on the package.

Please remember that it is always better to apply early. There is no need for the applicant to wait for
university deadlines to arrive. Academic competition is quite tough and the number of Indian students
applying abroad is increasing every year. It is a question of the survival of the fittest. Therefore please
apply as early as possible and strictly adhere to the university deadlines.

The delivery of our service is through our head office staff based at Okhla, New Delhi, or certain staff
members who are application experts and work from their homes. Our interaction with the applicant is
primarily email & telephone conversation/voice chat based. This allows applicant to be serviced by us
from the comfort of the applicant’s home/office – all that the applicant needs is an internet connection
&/or phone line.

The applicant will receive one or more phone call(s) for each of the above stages of our service.
Subsequent interaction is email based though the applicant is free to call up our head office base or
‘online’ staff should applicant prefer telephone based interaction.

We believe that your aim is our mission and we work in close collaboration with all applicants towards
making his/her dream come true. Thus, at the very outset we develop a detailed schedule for completing
key processes for university admissions, working under strict deadlines for drafts and final documents, in
order to leave as little as possible to chance. We look forward to working with you.
