aim to make the writer easy to analyze because the eight grade student has the basic of
English which given in previous class before.

Method And Procedures Analysis


The writer using two method there are field research and library research, from

field research the writer can take a lot of information because the writer observed how a
particular teaching technique works by looking the target object directly. with this
analysis method the writer can see immediately the response from students and the result
of the research. The writer takes a lot of data which needed such as student attendance
list, the exercise which given by the teacher, and grade list. To make a comparison
between the previously method and the audio visual method. not only field research the
writer also use library research to get some theory which can strengthen audio visual
method.

The writer use several procedure to make this final assignment, in the chapter one
the writer explain about the problem which the writer want to analyze and the method
which the writer use to make the final assignment, in the chapter two the writer explain
about definition and theory which related to the writer title, in the chapter three the writer
explain the process of teaching it contain how the writer use the method as well, then
conclusion from the problem and the suggestion from the writer explain in chapter four.

Definition of English Teaching


Teaching is the important part in learning activity, the student quality depends on
how good quality of teachers in giving explanations, According to Harmer (2007:7)
Teaching is about transmission from the teacher to the student, from this statement
show teaching is the process of delivery knowledge from teacher a performer to student
as participant.
According to Twain (2003:4) Teaching is some responsive that have a lilt voice
in the science ,it means teaching is responsive that has feedback between the student and
the teacher in learning activities which can support a science advancement.

Teaching is affect to the learners or the teacher, it create because of communicate


between two or more people in take or give a knowledge, According to Yurich (2005:3)
teaching is the one of demonstration between two or more people that has used by tools
and serve the science also increase the behavior to the wild life.
According to Jackson (2006:1) teaching is the act , process or art of importing
knowledge and skill in a principal taught or advanced for believe it means the teaching
definition is an act to guide the student to get the knowledge and improve their skill to
achieve a progress.
The teaching progress need more attention when the teacher manage it, because
teaching is the main point of student progress, we can find this point from Jeremy harmer
statement in his book how to teach English (2007:23) teaching is not an easy job, but it
is necessary one, and can be very rewarding when we see our student progress and know
that we have helped to make it happen.
According to Sara bubb in her book helping teacher develop teaching demands
creativity, commitment , energy, and enthusiasm and the intellectual, and managerial
skill (2005:5). To make fun learning activities teaching activities should be creative and
attractive it suppose to increase student appeal in learn, and avoid bore feeling from the
student which influence in student motivation. Not only creative teaching, teaching also
need commitment and managerial skill because all of people inside has responsible for
the result. Teaching is two way process this statement can be found in Geoff petty in his
book teaching today communication and learning requires that the following chain
works perfectly : what I mean-what I say-what they hear-what they understand,

(2002:37).communication between the teacher and the student is very important in


learning progress, good communication give good result in learning activities.
From all the theory above the writer conclude Teaching is the process to deliver
acknowledgement from the teacher as speaker and student as learner. Teaching not only
demand creativity, commitment and managerial skill but also good communication, to
make the learner feel comfort and easy to understand.
2.2

Definition of English Vocabulary


According to http://esl.fis.edu/learners/advice/vocab.htm vocabulary is a very
important part of learning a language. The more words you know, the more you will be
able to understand what you hear and read; and the better you will be able to say what
you want to when speaking or writing., vocabulary is the basic before we mastery
English language, more words the student know the English understanding will be better.
According to Cambridge university (2003:9), by vocabulary we mean that we
more interested in the meaning and recognition

of words themselves than in their

function as part of sentence structure which we feel will be more rightly defined as
grammar, it show that vocabulary is the recognition and the meaning of word, and it
more interested than it function as a part of sentence.
According to Saddle back (2000:5) building a good vocabulary doesnt mean
long lists of difficult words. It doesnt mean spending long hour reading a dictionary
either.
