Quick teaching on why we need to engage this is in prayer, and by action.

First off, we need to get into a war mentality. Everything that God has sent us up here to do is because powers and principalities are to be evicted. Keep that in mind while im speaking, and for the rest of the night. First, should government legislate morality? Second, what are the limits of governmental sovereignty? The following are a few general principles helpful in determining the limits of governmental authority. God has ordained certain institutions to be in place. We should all know that civil govt is ordained by God (Gen 9.6). If you don¶t go read and talk to me later and we will get some places in the bible to back that up. Ok so civil Gov¶t is ordained by God, whats our part in this and why so important? If we don¶t understand a few things about the limits of civil govt and the safeguards and other governing structures that God has put in place, we will inadvertly setup Gov¶t as an idol and bring damnation to souls saved and lost. What other institutions besides civil government are there, and how do they exercise authority in their particular sphere of influence. 1)The first institution is the church (Heb. 12:18±24; 1 Pet. 2:9±10). Jesus taught that the government should work in harmony with the church and should recognize its sovereignty in spiritual matters (Matt. 22:21). 2)The second institution is the family (Eph. 5:22±32, 1 Pet. 3:1±7). The family is an institution under God and His authority (Gen.1:26±28, 2:20±25). When the family breaks down, the government often has to step in to protect the rights of the wife (in cases of wife abuse) or children (in cases of child abuse or adoption). The biblical emphasis, however, is not so much on rights as it is on responsibilities and mutual submission (Eph. 5:21). 3)A third institution is education. Children are not the wards of the state, but belong to God (Ps. 127:3) and are given to parents as a gift from God. Parents are to teach their children (Deut. 4:9) and may also entrust them to tutors (Gal. 4:2). This is in contrast to other political systems that see the state as the sovereign agent over human affairs, exercising sovereignty over every other human institution, this is not biblical and is in all honesty shows us that we are currently fighting a principality that we as Christians have been ignorant of for some time. In a humanistic system of government, the institutions of church and family are usually subordinated to the state. In an atheistic system, ultimately the state becomes a substitute god and is given additional power to adjudicate disputes and bring order to a society. Since institutions exist by permission of the state, there is always the possibility that a new social contract will allow government to intervene in the areas of church and family.

Since ethics and morality are man-made.A Christian view of government recognizes the sovereignty of these spheres. was under God¶s law and not above it. as well as anyone else. "It would take gods to give men laws. Rutherford¶s Lex Rex (written in 1644) had profound effect on British and American law. Up until that time. Law is rooted in God¶s unchangeable character and derived from biblical principles of morality. the Commentaries became the definitive treatise on the common law in England and in America. According to Blackstone. Published in 1765. Blackstone believed that the fear of the Lord was the beginning of wisdom. Thus. that you can not supercede the sphere of influence of the Church. and thus is relative and arbitrary. Rutherford properly argued from passages such as Romans 13 that the king. family and education. so also is law. but a clash of Kingdoms that ultimately ends in the destruction of any kingdom that gives man power and doesn¶t rightly give up the Glory to God!! Remember this is about war! Us showing up on Monday shows that civil govt is not God! That we are taking a stand and saying. law is based upon God¶s revealed commandments. the king¶s word had been law. the two foundations for law are nature and revelation through the Scriptures. Humanists¶ law is rooted in human opinion. the king had been the law. This isn¶t a clash of ideologies. Two important figures in the history of law are Samuel Rutherford (1600-1661) and William Blackstone (1723-1780). Law is not based upon human opinion or sociological convention. . It¶s the foundation of God¶s. humanity is the source of law. rather than upon the word of any man. Law is merely the expression of human will or mind. liberty. He said. This doctrine had held that the king or the state ruled as God¶s appointed regent. In a Christian view of government. or property. and thus taught that God was the source of all laws. Moral Basis of Law Law should be the foundation of any government. It is interesting that even the humanist Rousseau noted in his Social Contract that one needs someone outside the world system to provide a moral basis for law. Governmental intervention into the spheres of church and family is necessary in certain cases where there is threat to life. His treatise challenged the foundations of 17th century politics by proclaiming that law must be based upon the Bible. The book created a great controversy because it attacked the idea of the divine right of kings. In humanism." Ok so now we understand a couple of things what this is about. Sir William Blackstone was an English jurist in the 18th century and is famous for his Commentaries on the Law of England which embodied the tenets of Judeo-Christian theism. Otherwise civil government should recognize the sovereignty of other God-ordained institutions.

21:19-22 19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way. the LAW. So what are we going to do about this? We are going to be obedient? We are going to be ready in this season. Be thou removed. It¶s a clash of Kingdoms. Because if enough ppl will put there faith in a demonically inspired principality called the current American government. Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. Then Jesus gives us the key to always having fruit when in season. then He will have dominion over the other 3 spheres that God has created. The King. there was nothing there. ye shall receive. That¶s why the devil has the strong lie of homosexuality and divorce and abortion. 22 And all things.
