Consolidate student or youth policy recommendations for the academe sector; 2. Introduce best practices of student or youth organizations on peace, environment, leadership development and among others to advance the achievement of MDGs and; 3. Educate the student services personnel on the different aspects of student involvements in the context of youth development. PARTICIPANTS: Deans/directors/coordinators on Student Affairs, NSTP, guidance councilors, advisers or consultants of student government organization and student publications, school librarian and among other student services personnel of both public and private colleges and universities of the Philippines.

1. Arrival, Registration, Belliting will be done on July 29 from 7: 00 AM – 12: 00 NN. Closing Program is on July 31 at 10: 30 AM. Participant to arrived a day before July 29 is advised to communicate with us to arrange hotel boarding and accommodation. The expenses to be incurred of his stay shall be the participant’s responsibility. The Balanghai Hotel and Convention Center is a prominent establishment in Butuan City. Air transportation is a daily transaction in Butuan City through Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines. From the Bancasi Airport in Butuan City, a public utility jeep (PUJ) can transport the participant to the venue for a minimum fare of Php 15. 00. For sea trip, the Nasipit Sea Port in Nasipit Municipality is the entry point to Butuan City. From the sea port, a public utility jeep can transport the participant to Butuan City for a minimum fare of Php 25. 00. For land trip, Butuan City can be reached via Cagayan de Oro City for about four (4) hours and Davao City for about eight (8) hours travel time. Payment for registration can be made ahead of time. No personal check is to be accepted. The participant is expected to be in good health. For special arrangement or restriction on foods, please communicate with us.
