Clinton Democratic Club Focuses On Summer Safety


The Clinton Democratic Club held its monthly meeting Wednesday night at the law firm of Vallone & Vallone. This months focus was on our local public safety and what is being done by our police precincts and the District Attorneys ofPictured from Left: President Paul Vallone, Recording fice. Queens District Attorney Richard artist Arielle, Deputy Inspector Brian Maguire of the 109th Precinct, Captain Ronald Leyson of the 111th Precinct, Brown, Public Safety Chair Councilman Queens District Attorney Richard Brown, and the Clinton Club Kids. Peter Vallone, Jr., Deputy Inspector Brian Maguire of the 109th Precinct and Captain Ronald Leyson of the 111th Precinct, all spoke on local crime statistics and recently enacted legislation. District Attorney Brown commended President Paul Vallone on getting children involved in the club and their community. He added, Their involvement and commitment is critical for the future of our local communities. Judge Brown ended by saying, Queens is the safest county in the U.S.,. Public Safety Chair Councilman Peter Vallone, Jr. explained recent legislation he has passed in City Hall and urged everyone to fight any cuts to our police departments. Deputy Inspector Brian Maguire of the 109th Precinct and Captain Ronald Leyson of the 111th Precinct informed members of the current low crime rate in our communities and provided tips to keep our children and homes as safe as possible.

Clinton Club Kids End the Year With A Bang


The Clinton Club Kids welcomed summer on a very musical note. Displaying their talents on various musical instruments, the kids performed The Can Can Song and Bad Romance. The finale featured the whole chorus singing "Firework. The children were treated to a special guest: aspiring recording artist Arielle, who spoke to the Clinton Club Kids about pursuing their dreams while also continuing a higher education.

Though this was the clubs last meeting until September, the Clinton Democratic Club will hold a summer celebration dinner at Cascarinos on July 20th, located on Bell Boulevard in Bayside.
