Chairs Forward
It is with great pleasure that, on behalf of Universidade Lusfona de Humanidades e Tecnologias/ CICANT Center for Research in Applied Communications, Culture and New Technologies and LINI - Lisbon Internet and Networks Institute, we welcome you to our institutions and the city of Lisbon. As in previous years, the conference program is very diverse: it starts on Wednesday 29 June with pre-conference tutorials, workshops and a doctoral consortium. The main conference takes place on Thursday 30 June and Friday 1st July, and offers three keynote speakers, academic full and short paper presentations, iTV in Industry sessions, posters and demos. An important part of the EuroITV conference is the social events. You will have the opportunity to meet with friends and colleagues during lunches and coffee breaks and, also, to enjoy Portuguese food and drinks: particularly during the welcome reception being held at the magnificent Palcio Foz and the conference dinner at the beautiful Estufa Real at Jardim Botnico da Ajuda. It is therefore with great pleasure that wish you a fruitful event that is not depleted in these days of the conference but that opens up spaces and opportunities for new collaborations and scientific dialogues.
