OVERVIEW
Ceridian produce complex critical documents and it is crucial they deliver a first class service to their customers. They had some print management tools in place, however, they needed to appoint an organisation that could offer the key components and expertise required to manage their level of document production. Objective was to find a specialist that could help reduce print management time, costs and logistics, as well as offer a professional service.

Ceridian is the one of the worlds leading providers of HR and payroll services, flexible benefits and employee assistance programmes (EAP). Established in 1965 as Centrefile, and purchased in 1995 by the Ceridian Corporation, they have been delivering world-class HR services for over 40 years. Across 45 countries, Ceridian work with over 110,000 clients including 50% of the Financial Times Global 500 and 75% of the Fortune 500, supporting over 25 million employees.

DEFINITIVE SOLUTION
One of the key strengths of the service has been the roll out of Banner Managed Communication technology solutions to streamline and speed up processes. Business cards are now created and ordered online by Ceridian users, via - integrated Client System technology, with turnaround times reduced from weeks to days. Stock items can be called off online through OSCOS (Online Stock Catalogue Ordering System), which gives thumbnail views of products and real time stock level information. A weekly stock report is also provided to summarise activity, recommend stock re-order levels and flag up slow moving or redundant items. Most recently, Ceridian have become users of the Banner Digital Asset Management solution. As a result, all approved staff have access to artwork, images and files from across the world at a click of a mouse, via a totally secure permission based system. This has proved extremely beneficial and popular, with 1000s of new images being uploaded and accessed each month.

The relationship started primarily with the supply and management of Ceridians critical document lines. Banner Managed Communication have worked closely with customer stakeholders to rationalise the range, re-specify some pieces, identify slow moving stock and eliminate obsolescence. The scope of the partnership has expanded to include the supply of corporate stationery, marketing materials and direct mail campaigns whilst delivering an average of 20% costs savings.
