This is what I did in the Festival of Britain ! I am attaching a photo of myself (at the age of 8) with Walter Landauer of the piano playing duo, Rawicz and Landauer . He taught me to play the piano and this was part of an interview with Walter Landauer which included a small performance by me ! We were interviewed by Bill Taylor. Bill Taylor was the brother of John Taylor, editor of "The Tailor and Cutter" who became one of the most prolific and successful journalists of his generation. I have another photo somewhere in the loft that shows Bill Taylor with his microphone, Walter Landauer and me !

This event took place at the Telekinema at the Festival of Britain but th ere are no dates on the photos and I have very little memory of this. I do remember that the audience was not in front of us - but that the transmission was relayed to the audience who were elsewhere. And I do remember the excitement of the occasion, my silver sandals, my broderie anglaise dress (white with blue underneath) and my pudding basin haircut ! I hope this is of some interest to you
