OLV will follow the Diocese of Columbus Safe Environment Program which states all volunteers, age 18 years or older, volunteering in parish programs or ministries who have been delegated care, custody or control of children, must complete the following requirements prior to working with children: Attend a Protecting Gods Children session and have a BCI&I background check done. THE MONTHLY BAPTISM CLASS is scheduled for Sunday, July 3 at 2:00p in the Parish Life Center (Lower Level). This is a mandatory class for all first time parents wishing to have their baby baptized at Our Lady of Victory.

lease join Our Lady of Victory Parish as we embrace our newest ministry, Run The Race. Run the Race is a wonderful ministry on the west side of Columbusjust 3.6 miles from OLV.

It was developed by Rachel Muha in loving memory of her son, Brian Muha, who was killed 10 years ago. This center especially fosters health and happiness through spiritual and emotional development for kids ages 3-18 years olds.

n mid July Our Lady of Victory will be making the annual trip to Montana de Luz in Honduras. We have many needs, some of which we are asking for help for our parishioners to donate so that our travelers can take with them to the mission. We will be putting containers marked Montana de Luz to collect any donations offered in the Church Vestibule & Church Side Entrance; WE WILL COLLECOL LECT THESE ITEMS THROUGH JULY 10TH. We thank Gina Krantz and all the adult and teen leaders for their involvement in Vacation Bible School. The attendance was very good and it was truly an exciting religious happening for all who participated. The Parish Festival will be held Friday, August 19 and Saturday, August 20. John Drake and Jesse Oddi will co-chair the event. Most of the activities do have chair-persons in place. When called upon to volunteer, please respond. Pat Feamster (657-2375) and Renee Williams (296-8024) are again in charge of the Silent Auction and are currently accepting auction items.

July 21 at 7:00p we will show: God's Doorkeeper in the Parish Life Center. The movie looks at the heart and legacy of Brother Andr - as a man of prayer, of hospitality, and of compassion; a man who draws people in to experience a God who is love. DIOCESAN GIRLS SOCCER TEAM: St Mary Magdalene is attempting to have a 7th and 8th grade Diocesan Girls Soccer Team. BIRTHRIGHT OF COLUMBUS, an emergency pregnancy support service thanks the parish for their prayers and support.
