Learning Objectives: Pupils will be taught to understand, read and write the vocabulary related to time.
Learning outcomes: At the end of this lesson, pupils will be able to read and write the time to the half or quarter hour on a clock by answering correctly three questions out of four questions verbally during group activity.
Previous Knowledge: Pupils have learnt the topic of time during Year 2 Moral Value: Cooperation and toleration Thinking Skills: Problem solving and concept formation
Resources and Materials: Fake clock; Clock face; Real Clock; Time cards; Activity Book
Introduction (10 minutes) 1100-1110 1. Pupils will be asked to read the timetable five by the teacher.
1. Pupils will be introduced the hands of clock by the teacher. y y Short = hour hand Long = minute hand Hour hand Real Clock
Minute hand 2. Pupils will be guided to count the minutes on the clock

3. Pupils will be guided to read the time that shown on the clock by teacher. Real Clock
