WELCOME!
We extend a warm welcome to all who have come to worship and fellowship with us this morning. If you are a first time visitor with us, please take time to fill out a Welcome Card located in the pew rack and place it in the offering plate. Parents of small children (under age 3) may take them to our Nursery, where a caring staff will supervise them. We also have a Pre-School Program (ages 3-5) that runs during our Worship Service in the Church Time PreSchool Room. Childrens Ministry Workshop The CE Committee would like to invite anyone who is currently working with children within the church or elsewhere to join us this Thursday July 14th at 6:30 pm for a seminar: Ministering to the Next Generation. We will be learning about the structure of a children's program that is flourishing in St John's Nfld. How to show God's love to children and help them to understand that church is a safe, loving, and fun environment. We will be dealing with children from nursery age all the way through to university age. Please come join us for an informative learning time and refreshments. Together we can build on the future of our children within the church. Pre-Marriage Course Pastor Ida will be offering a Pre-Marriage Preparation Course starting this Tuesday night, July 12th, at 6:30 pm. If youre interested in taking part, please speak to Ida after the service this morning. Playgroup Starting on Monday, July 18th at 9:30 am we will be offering a playgroup for all preschool aged children and their caregivers. We are not offering babysitting services but rather a fellowship opportunity for caregivers while their children enjoy a relaxed and friendly playtime environment. Phoenix House Needs The Missions Committee will be collecting travel-sized personal items such as shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste etc. for Phoenix House. We will be doing this over the summer months. A basket has been placed in the foyer so you may drop your donations in the basket. Small things can help others in big ways. Thank you for supporting this endeavour.
