A survey of notable projects in the city of Cleveland shows considerable investment in the urban core of Northeast Ohio — from

new hospitals to hotels to homes. The Plain Dealer looked at projects with price tags of at least $5 million to see what sorts of projects are planned or under way and where private and public dollars are flowing. The question: Can more than $5.4 billion in redevelopment and new construction propel downtown Cleveland and its neighborhoods toward a resurgence?
