Haka Lodge Ltd., Christchurch, New Zealand April 2011 May 2011 Web Developer Designed and created website, including all content and SEO. Site uses Wordpress CMS modified with Platform Pro (drag and drop template creator with custom CSS). Haka Tours NZ Ltd., Christchurch, New Zealand October 2008 June 2011 Digital Marketing Co-ordinator Full-time role with adventure tour operator, who had a business model based on going direct to the consumer online. I was one of the original employees of the company, and the first person in my role. I played a key part in helping the company go from a new business to the award-winning, widelyrecognised brand that it is today. Turnover has now reached N$2m per year. Through my role I was responsible for designing and implementing marketing strategies, particularly through online channels. I managed the entire SEO and Adwords campaigns for the Haka brands three websites, and all social media communications, building a strong presence on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter amongst others. I regularly managed large projects: for example, in 2009 I coordinated the design and content of the companys brochure and in 2010/11 I was responsible for the re-design of (budget of N$70,000). Haka Tours Ltd., Manchester, UK Sept 2007 Sept 2008 Marketing Assistant Initially a four month contract for the company when it was barely 3 months old. I established and developed marketing strategies including online communication, social media, and a large promotional competition aimed at students in Britain via YouTube and in association with STA Travel. For this I travelled around university unions to promote Haka Tours whilst writing and distributing press releases. This was very much regarded as our introduction to the UK market and 50% of the following 12 months bookings were attributed to the campaign. > Work for Haka Tours during January September 2008 was on a part-time basis. > Between March July 2008 I travelled on a round the world trip, visiting parts of Asia, Australasia and USA. MUSICON, Durham Universitys Professional Concert Series: 1) Assistant Administrator 2006 - 2007 Was responsible for 20 people working for the organisation, which holds 20 different music concerts throughout the year. Responsibilities included chairing regular meetings, motivating others, and overseeing all aspects of the organisation, including the marketing, publicity and box office teams. This was the highest position a student could hold. 2) Concert Manager 2005 2006 Managed all the concerts that the organisation runs, in varying locations including Durham Cathedral and the Gala Theatre. Audiences would range from 200 to 1000 people. Looked after performers and audience members, whilst organising and instructing stewards. Durham Film Society 2005 2007 Secretary One of original founders of society. Organised meetings, filming locations, promotional and social events for the society, as well as acting as producer/director/editor on a

number of short film projects. Helped set up first website and came up with ways to attract new members. Bugsy Malone, Collingwood College, UK 2005 Musical Director Worked with a production crew in three months to organise and rehearse a musical for four public performances in early March. Auditioned cast and orchestra, as well as holding rehearsals and production meetings. Promoted the show to the public using various marketing methods such as poster campaigns, mail-outs, emails and the internet.

I have a great sense of adventure and will try anything and everything! I love being creative, making home movies and playing the piano. I am proud of my inner-geek and taught myself HTML as a young teenager. I hope to continue to expand on this in the future alongside other digital marketing skills. I know New Zealand inside and out from both travelling and working within the tourism industry.
