Dangerous Operations

Collecting airborne imagery from manned aircraft has inherent risks to team
members due to long duration, low altitude missions and potentially dangerous
environments.

Unmanned Systems

Drones and UAS have potential to improve safety profiles and cost efficiency, but
have unique challenges for large-scale airborne remote sensing due to limitations in
payload size, weight & regulations. We can scale our camera/mapping solutions down

to operate within those limitations, still maximizing flight efficiency and cost.

Low Quality

Despite the many advancements of commercial satellite imagery- cost, spatial

resolution and inability to control the acquisition process remain limiting factors for
many applications

Missed Opportunity

Many organizations are failing to transform their aerial data in a manner that would
empower them to gain new insight and bring essential improvements to their
programs.

solution. Agencies with land-use oversight responsibilities are challenged by monitoring large areas cost effectively. Automated image analysis can assist with
classification of areas and outlier detection, accurately assigning property use classifications for agricultural, horticultural, right-of-way, forestry or open
space uses.

Aerial Inspections

Critical infrastructure/roads/railways
Aging and failing roadway and railway infrastructure carries both economic and human safety risks. High-quality, timely spatial data can be used to identify
and mitigate structural deficiencies that increase uptime/efficiency and could save lives.

Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance

Intelligence operations benefit from incorporating a variety of sensor types into intelligence operations. The ability to cross-cue airborne video surveillance
with wide area mapping provides tremendous benefits by providing broad-area context as well as the ability to identify and locate targets of interest.
Quantaero’s technology allows teams to remain out of harm’s way while accomplishing their objectives.

Emergency Situations

Fire, hurricane/earthquake disaster assessments

Natural disasters leave areas extremely unsafe for monitoring and assessment, and present unique challenges of scale and urgency to First
Responders and Incident Management Teams. These teams need timely, accurate situation assessments to inform decision making, deliver
critical services, and keep personnel safe.

Search and rescue (wilderness or maritime)

Search and rescue missions often need to cover large areas quickly with the ability to identify lost individuals in remote areas. Time is of the
essence, and Quantaero’s solutions can provide unmatched wide area coverage efficiency enhanced by automated image analysis.
