Dear Candidate, We thank you for responding to the advertisement for recruitment in the above post in DVC . 1. The candidates before appearing for the written exam should satisfy themselves regarding eligibility criteria desired for the post with regard to prescribed qualification, age etc. exactly against DVC advertisement released. Equivalent branch/stream of Engineering, except as shown in the Advt., would not be accepted and would be treated as ineligible. 2. This admit card is issued to you for appearing in the written test solely based on the information furnished by you in your online application for GET-2011 in DVC. If at any stage of the recruitment process including after recruitment or joining, it is detected that information provided by you is incorrect / incomplete or is not in conformity with the eligibility criteria as per DVC advertisement, or if it is found that you have concealed / distorted any material information, your candidature / appointment will be cancelled without assigning any reason thereof. 3. Admission to written test examination and further process of selection will be purely provisional without verification of age/qualification/category (SC/ST/PWD/OBC) etc. of the candidates with reference to documents and subject to their fulfilling eligibility criteria in all respect. It may be noted that merely calling a candidate for written examination does not in any way entitle him/her to appointment in DVC.

Your candidature is provisional and is subject to satisfying all the criteria prescribed for the post and verification of all your original certificates at the time of interview. The candidates will appear for the written examination at the allotted centers at their own expenses and risk and DVC will not be responsible for any injury/losses etc. of any nature. The Written test will be held in one session of about 2 hour duration (as per above mentioned timing).For details of written test and its nature, pl.refer to Instruction section. DVC may at its discretion hold re-examination when found necessary in respect of a Centre/Venue. You are required to sign in the space provided in the admit card only in the presence of the invigilator. You will not be permitted to appear at the written test without the Admit Card. Please note that no duplicate Admit Card will be issued at the Test Centre. It has to be downloaded from the given link and should be brought to the Center duly completed in all respects (except putting signature) and handed over to the Room Invigilator. Please note down your Roll No.& Registration ID for future reference or keep a photocopy with you, as this Admit Card will be collected from you.

Any candidate reporting late by more than 15 minutes from the start time of the test will not be permitted to appear in the written test. 12. Result of written test will be published in DVC website. No correspondence or even telephonic discussion would be entertained in this regard. 13. No fare towards travelling would be paid/reimbursed for attending written test. 14. Any canvassing by the candidate would entail his/her disqualification. 15. No request for the change of date/venue would be entertained. 16. INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO ANSWER IN THE WRITTEN TEST 1. The following are some instruc tions regarding the written test : a) MOST IMPORTANT: DO NOT BRING MOBILE PHONES/SCANNING DEVICES/ANY ELECTRONIC GADGET TO THE EXAMINATION CENTRE; PLEASE NOTE THAT, NO ARRANGEMENTS FOR STORING THESE WILL BE MADE AT THE EXAM CENTRE AS THESE ITEMS ARE BANNED INSIDE THE CENTRE. Candidates are not allowed to carry any papers, notes, books, c alc ulators, c ellular phones, pager etc . in the examination hall. Any c andidate found using or in possession of such unauthorized material or indulging in c opying or adopting unfair means to be summarily disqualified. Stric tly follow the Instruc tions given on the question booklet or by Centre Supervisor/Room Invigilator. You must use Black/Blue Ball Point Pen for the written test. After finishing the examination, handover c omplete question booklet and answer sheet to room invigilator, DO NOT c arry the question booklet or any part thereof outside the examination room. Doing so is a punishable offence.

The total duration of test is 2 hours. The test will c onsist of 120 questions of 1(one) mark eac h for c orrec t answer. There shall be negative marking for eac h wrong answer. The objec tive type question paper will be of multiple c hoic e c onsisting of questions on knowledge of the subjec t/stream and aptitude i.e. General Awareness, English, Logic al Ability, Quantitative Aptitude. How to answer objective type paper . You are to c hoose the c orrec t/best response and mark your response with Black/Blue Ball Point Pen in the OMR Answer Sheet only and not in the question booklet. No c hange/cutting/over writing in the answers are allowed in the OMR Answer Sheets.Each question number is followed by 4 OVALS marked as (1) (2) (3) and (4). You will have to indicate your answer by c ompletely darkening the appropriate Oval by blue or blac k Ball Point pen only in suc h a way that the number inside the OVAL is not visible. For example, for a partic ular question, if you find that out of four given answers the one marked (3) is c orrect answer, then on the Answer Sheet against that partic ular question number, you will have to indic ate your answer by c ompletely darkening the c orrec t Oval as follows :

Mark your answer by darkening only one oval as shown in the example below. Multiple answers to any question will be treated as wrong answer.
