Greetings in the name of Community Service!

Community service is a program engagement of individuals in volunteer activities that focus on providing
services needed by different sectors of the community. The aim is to serve the poorest of the poor, the
less privileged, the deprived and the oppressed (Elman, 1998).

Social studies teachers and students from the Province of Tarlac have been very involved in conducting
extension services to various clienteles and have been supportive to the different programs and projects
of the local government units, non-government organizations and academe particularly in extending help
to the community.

Apropos to this, our second project with title “SA MAG-ASAWANG TSINELAS, MAKAKAIWAS SA
TINIK AT GASGAS” was conceptualized by private individuals and non-governmental organizations
which primarily aims to bring closer the necessary assistance to the Indigenous People of Sitio Betel,
Maruglo, Capas, Tarlac.

In line with this, we would like to ask for your approval to allow us to conduct an outreach program to
your community. This activity aims to revive and promote the bayanihan spirit among Tarlaqueños.
Attached herewith is the list of the participants of the aforementioned program.
