1. Executive Summary The PEASCE Development Organization is a non-profitable, non-governmental, non-religious and non-political Organization; having head office at House No. 27-C/3 Block-C Satellite Rawalpindi-Pakistan and operates through Regional Operations Office at House No: 33, Khattak House Kaghan Colony Abbottabad. PEASCE is working since 2005 but get registered in 2009; under The Society Registration Act XXI of 1860 bearing Reg. No. RSJC/DISTT RWP/73, 2008-09. It operates the finances thorough its official banker; Allied Bank Abbottabad. The PEASCE contributes to participatory development processes at different levels through advocacy and network development while utilizing potentials of the devolved system to promote positive changes and at the same time creating avenues for regional and global partnerships for collective wellbeing. (PEASCE) Mansehra caters to the capacity building needs of the local community, CBOs, and other development actors by arranging variety of training program. PEASCE Development Organization is engaged in different levels advocacy campaigns and intends to expand its advocacy program and have intensive lobbying on the themes of human rights, education, Infrastructure development, Mobilization, Gender & Women empowerment, addressing the communitys legal issues, Different awareness programs regarding basic concerning human issues, Disaster preparedness & management, Political education, Child Labour, Poverty Alleviation, environment, preventive and curative health, and wise resource management for setting prosperous and tolerant social norms. PEASCE establishes coordination mechanisms with government line agencies to institutionalize citizens participation for ensuring good governance practices in transitional tribal environment.

(PEASCE) Mansehra has set up close links with civil society organizations of the adjoining districts; Abbottabad, Harripur, Dir, Buner, Shangla, Kohistan and Malakand, Balakot, Muzaferabad, Batagram and information & experiences are shared on regular basis. A dedicated team of teachers, students, advocates, journalists and likeminded people from all walks of life started to sit together, share and express their apprehensions over the social injustices and discrimination due to the social unevenness, gender, religion, sect, color, dialect, and race. Increasing dangers to the Mother earth because of polluted water and environmental pollution, lack of education and awareness about various social issues especially primary health care, child rights, women and gender development. This PEASCE team of devoted youth started to meet and ponder upon these social issues frequently and tried to find solutions of these social problems on the grass root level. This PEASCE committed youth gradually started to transform into a non-profit, non-governmental, non-religious and non-political but yet nonregistered charitable organization and started to meet at regular intervals. These social issues included almost from all walks of life. But mainly they included the social problems which are of great pain and suffering for laymen in their every day lives.

2. Objectives/Goals PEASCE Development Organization is at utmost efforts to facilitate, educate and forge understanding among the underprivileged and uncared residents of the most neglected, undeveloped and far off bucolic areas, about; Volunteerism Advocacy Primary Health care Betterment of Health facilities Education Women and Gender Development Human Rights Livelihood WATSON 3. Mission Statement. Striving for establishment of a just society in a socially responsible way let us put our minds and hearts together and see what kind of life we can build for our children." Cleaner mind cleaner heart cleaner soul makes a cleaner human society leading to a cleaner environment." 4. Vision PEASCE Development Organization wishes to build a society with Justice, Peace, harmony, health & education for all, democracy without any sort of discrimination, happy and healthy people enjoying equal rights and a greener, cleaner and pollution free mother earth through economic development by community empowerment and trainings and creating new avenues for income generation.

PEASCE Development Organization loves and respects every human being, regardless of their color, creed, sect, race, gender or parlance. It speaks up for those who can not speak for themselves. "We will help our people to attain their financial goals, protect their families and businesses and be a resource to all who require our services." 5. Working/Targeted Area Pakistan is a developing country and a huge majority of the Pakistani population lives in villages. Residents of these villages, towns are illiterate and they depend entirely on crop growing for the bread and butter of their families. We at PEASCE want to bwaten the sphere of opportunities of all under privileged. 6. Structure of The PEASCE Development Organization PEASCE Development Organization is supervised and run by a Governing body. Details of the Governing body are following: Board of Governors of PEASCE All the decisions are taken by the Governing body per rules and regulations of the organization, as described in the memorandum of the organization. Governing body consists of: Chairperson, Mr. Khalid Khattak Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Nadia Khattak General Secretary, Ms. Shahnaz Khattak Finance Manager, Mr. M. Advisory Committee Mrs. Shabnam Bashir (LLM) 7. Volunteer/s: PEASCE projects are carried out through the generous help and co-operation of its volunteer force. PEASCE has a respectable number of volunteers who are ready to work bro-bono for the welfare and wellbeing of humanity at any cost and time. For this purpose Community Organizations are being formed at different U/Cs for need assessment, data collection and ready to work at times of emergencies. 8. Network PEASCE Development Organization has a close coordination network and relations with public sector, private sector and government sector.

11. Activities
1. Voluntarily a few of our management took place in the
activities of the earthquake 2005. They side by side worked with MSF France voluntarily as a project coordinator with a group of volunteers who got together for four good months and performed duties of camp management. A tent village was erected for the purpose of recovery of the invalids, as well as they were entrusted with the monitoring and management of the tent village.
2. Literacy computer labs were established at Balakot, Garhi
Habibullah, Talhatta, Atter Sheesha and Phurla for computer literacy in collaboration with the local government.
3. Individual funding and funding from Aryians International
helped in providing relief items at the time of the IDPs situation at Mardan, Mansehra and Abbottabad. 4. Ujala School Academy, a project to literate the under privileged students of Khail, District Mansehra.
