These poems are about spiritual matters in our life. Most of them are symbolically talking about our union with Christ and the Holy Spirit or the marriage of the Lamb. Some of these poems talk about our union with our twin flame or our soulmate. I have quite few poems that are similar to the Song of Solomon. Keep in mind when you read these poems that I am playing around with a lot of spiritual symbolism and concepts.
Ride the wave of love, to Heaven up above. Pray that your peace, will never ever cease. Hope for eternal life, leave behind any strife. Live in the light, let it shine so bright.
In My Dreams«
In my dreams, I think of you, my other half is looking through. The unconditional love that we share, and the loving eyes in your stare. But, you are just a dream to me, and you don¶t exist in this dimension of three. Where are you my love and do you care, and could you show yourself, if you dare? Are you real or just a wonderful dream, I wake up without you and want to scream. I escape this world to find your loving embrace, It is you that I long to meet face to face. It¶s too bad that you don¶t really exist here, because the dream of you is something so dear. I guess I will never find you on this Earth, but my dreams leave me with a feeling of mirth.
Feelings of peace, may love never cease. I feel so much light, it¶s a beautiful sight. The love comes within, that¶s where it¶s been. I was looking out there, but nothing could compare, with the love that you give, or the light that helps me live. I looked all over for true love, but I found it from above. The light illuminated my soul, and it makes me feel whole. I am it and it is me, now I can truly see. I am no longer blind, and love is mine to find. It was here all along, making me feel strong. Guiding me with light, showing me what is right.
I¶m the love I was looking for, I only needed to open the door. I entered into my sacred space, a temple beyond time and space. I connected with my one true love, the light radiated on me from above.
Dreams of You
Separated by time and space, and left all alone in this place. I think of you often in my mind, In my dreams of you I always find. A meeting spot where you are, It¶s like I¶m chasing a bright star. I can find you there, my love, you¶re the other half I¶m a part of. I can look into your delightful eyes, your soul is revealed under your disguise. We are two souls intertwine as one, making love underneath the sun. The light gets brighter when we¶re together, time does not exist because we are forever. When you are in my arms I don¶t exist, your sensual embrace, I can¶t ever resist. My heart beats faster when you are near, my love, my everything, whom I hold so dear. Your sweet caress and your butterfly kisses, something my heart and soul always misses. But I always seem to find you, my love, you¶re the one that I think the world of. FOREVER««««
My Best Friend & My Greatest Love
You¶re with me through this long dark night, You guide my way with your light. You are my very best friend, You help my heart to mend. Without you I feel alone, Stranded in the twilight zone. I trust you with all my heart, I hope that we will never part. You are the only one that understands, You love me and never make demands. Your love is unconditional and unwavering, My alliance with you is favoring. You have never let me down, Or made me feel unworthy and made me frown. You are the source of my soul, Your love makes me feel whole. You make me feel special all the time, Your guidance makes me feel sublime. No one here even comes close to you, They could never do all that you do. There is only one that I trust with my life, There is only one to help me with strife.
I wake up at night, and you are there, No one else could ever compare. Others depend on their spouses, And fill their lives with things in their houses. But you fill me up with the truth, You¶re the only one who knows Roberta Ruth. You¶re the only one that gets who I am, I follow my shepherd, like a lamb. You will never abandon me or cheat on me, My heart can only be opened with your key. You protect me and guide me through this maze, You help me find my way in this haze. I can be completely honest with you, Nothing is hidden from everything I do. My feelings are an open book, My mask is opened for you to look. I am exposed and naked before your eyes, There is no costume or no disguise. You fill my container up with light, You have given me the gift of true sight. Your love is incomprehensible to me, In my heart, you hold the only key. You unlock me like no one else could, With you, I am never misunderstood.
My honesty is complete with you, Every barrier I put up, you look through. You expose me and light me up, You fill me to overflowing in my cup. You love me no matter what I do, Every past and future event, you knew. Your love is infinite, your light divine, You fill my cup with the finest wine.
Raising the net
How do we all raise the net, and have we caught enough fish yet? In unison, let¶s all sing to the Lord, and see how many fish we can bring aboard. May Christ guide us with our net, there is no need for us to fret. We are fishermen of the soul, raise them up to we reach our goal. Save the suffering from the fire, let our efforts, never tire. Forget judgments and desire, lets lift them higher and higher. Never leave a man behind, bring all that you can find. Bring them all into the light, let their eyes see this sight. The ship is waiting for us now, Jesus words do avow. Grails hold tight and pull up, let the wine fill our cup. Lift up the net together as one, following the rising son.
We can do this if we try, its time for us to rise in the sky. We can assist Christ and raise the net, and we Apostles aren¶t done yet. Until we have pulled every sheep out of the pit, we will not ever quit. Pull and pull and lift us up and away, until we reach the dawn of a new day.
Lift up«lift up«.lift up««
Matthew 13:47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: Mark 1:17 And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.
Song of Love & Light
Your lips taste like the finest wine, sweet and sour like the grapes of a vine. Your eyes glitter with the light of love, you descend upon me like a dove. You¶re kisses are passionate and soft, I feel lightheaded, my spirit is aloft. Your hand caresses me in a loving embrace, as we gaze into each other¶s eyes, face to face. You smell like roses in the summer breeze, your aromatic fragrance puts me at ease. You whisper softly and sweetly into my ear, and tell me your secrets that I hold so dear. You kiss my neck tenderly as you stroke my skin, you stare at me intensely and ignite my flame within. My love, you are everything to me and more, only you have the key to my heart and can open that door. I long for your embrace and the sweetness of your lips, I want for you to caress me softly with your fingertips. Take me to the inner places deep within your soul, let us come together as one to become whole. Sing to me, my love, that harmonious delight, Let the melody lift my soul through this night.
The Dream of You
Looking into your eyes is like looking at the stars, I hear music, like an orchestra and a symphony with guitars. I can see as infinitely, as when I look out into space, I see forever in your eyes, as I gently caress your face. You are an infinite landscape that I seek to explore, as I caress the soft skin of your body I find so much more. Your kisses are as gentle as a butterfly fluttering about, your moist lips are like when the morning dew comes out. Your words are like poetry to me, and your voice is like a song, when you speak to me and hold me in your arms, I know I belong. No one understands me the way that you do, my love, you descend down gently upon me like a white feathered dove. You caress my soul with your singing, as your music fills my ears, and your love fills my soul and eliminates any doubts and fears. The light shines through your eyes and attracts me to you, they are the windows to your soul that lets me look through. I will love you forever infinitely, as you are my twin flame, in Christ, we will be one spirit, for you are the same. Come with me to the place where the sun never sets, and let us weave our songs together as harmonious duets.
There was a fisherman in the sea, trying to catch fish for you and me. He threw out his net and would pray, hoping that today would be the day. The fisherman fished in a dead zone, and would always seem to fish alone. Other fisherman would catch a lot, hundreds of fish they all caught. People would laugh and make fun, of the fisherman that never caught none. Until one day, when he caught a ton, during the early light of the rising sun. Everyone thought it was impossible, you see, to catch fish in the dead sea. The fisherman¶s miracle was soon known to all, to every fisherman, great and small. People thought that he was really dumb, and made fun of him for living in a slum. They called him a loser and left him alone, until the day of a terrible cyclone. The storm was fierce and tossed the boats, and people lost their homes and coats.
The sea tossed and turned and carried them away, to live in a new place on that very day. They saw the fisherman after the storm, in a flash of light he did transform. For the first time, they really saw him, his light shined bright and their light was dim. He told them that he was there to fish for men, and they all said a prayer and shouted, ³Amen´! You see, that miracle of fish he caught that one day, were all those people that he took away. He was there to save all of them on that final day, and he was never alone, as they would all say. God was helping him the whole time he would fish, and on that one fine day, the fisherman finally got his wish. Now they were laughing and singing together as one, and having fun in paradise with the son. He had fished them out of that great Cosmic sea, that fisherman came there to fish for you and me.
The Harvest at the Mill
We stopped at the Mingus Mill, and everyone got such a thrill. I went ahead and they didn¶t see, so they started searching for me. They searched for me and could not find, and wondered if they were left behind. I was at the mill and all alone, and was looking at it all on my own. I kept looking for them to come around, and when they did, they said I was found. They thought that they had been left behind, and that maybe there was no one left to find. On that day, they thought I went into the sky, but we were all left behind, because we couldn¶t yet fly. The Rapture didn¶t happen on that day, and no one got to ascend or fly away. But, I think that we will be ascending very soon, so we all need to sing to the Lord in perfect tune. None of us knows when the harvest will occur, we just know that one day soon we will transfer. When that day really comes, we will ascend as one, to fly up into the sky and join the son.
Maybe the beginning of the harvest is happening now, as God gathers our crops, we keep our vow. The millstone turns and grinds to a dust, as we proclaim, ³In God We Trust´. God is transforming us in his mill today, so we can receive our daily bread as we pray. After we cultivate our fields and plant our seeds, we must also pluck out all of the weeds. God will take his harvest to his mill, and someday very soon God will fulfill. This parable of the harvest at the mill, is prophetic of God¶s will.
He swept me into his arms with a passionate kiss, and I swooned and fell limp and could not resists. I felt his lips touch mine so softly as he caressed my face, and I was transported through spacetime to another place. He brought me to a distant shore of the cosmic sea, and he held me closely and sang so sweetly to me. He gave me a diamond ring as he asked me to be one, the light twinkled brightly to be reflected from the rising sun. I looked at the diamond and then I looked into his eyes, the light shined so brightly, I could see through his disguise. I threw the diamond ring into the cosmic sea beyond, as I searched for the words to explain and respond. I said, ³I will be your wife, but you¶re my diamond, honey´, ³True love can never be bought with gifts or money.´ ³It is your love and light that touches my soul, and together as one, we will be whole.´ ³You are my shiny diamond forever more, you hold the key to my heart and you opened the door.´
The Shadow Attack
They don¶t know who I am, they don¶t give a damn. They play with me, I¶m a toy, you see. I¶m nothing in their eyes, just a victim of their lies. They play with my heart, then tear me apart. They violated my trust, and leave me with disgust. They tried to take my pride, why they did chide? There is something left, even after their theft. I am in control, they can¶t take my soul. Their darkness pervades, and my light slowly fades. Then my eyes look up to the sky, and suddenly the light catches my eye. The greatest friend I¶ll ever see, has come here to rescue me.
My love, my passion, my all, and he broke down my wall. And I am safe in his arms, there are no more alarms. I am free from the fear, because the light is near. I can feel his love for me, my heart is open for his key. The greatest friend I ever had, makes me happy and always glad. He shields me from their attack, with his love, I shall never lack. His shield, armor and his light, rescued by my shining knight. He fights the shadows away from me, there is no more darkness, I can see. The darkness flees from me, I am free««I am free!
You stare at me in my dreams, your light shines through in beam's. I am lost in the stare of your eyes, I can see through the tears of your cries. Your eyes are the windows of your soul, I get lost in them and lose control. I can see forever in your eye¶s glance, you just stare at me and it puts me in a trance. We touch each other¶s soul with a look, we can read each other like a book. You are mine and I am yours evermore, looking into your eyes opens the door. I feel your emotions in that stare, I see love and I know that you care. I stare at you and time seems to end, a healing begins and my heart will mend. I can¶t stop staring, I can¶t look away, you have me and I want to stay. I want to be with you forever in that stare, I know you really love me and that you care. I am lost in the moment as the world fades away, I want for this dream to never end and for you to stay.
There is only you and me in this stare, please tell me how much you really care. I am forever lost in the eyes of you, I can see into Heaven when I look through. Then I wake up and you are gone, and I am here in this world all alone. So I go back to bed hoping to see you once more, and to figure out what you are staring at me for.
The Wine from the Vine
He came from the light of the divine, and was a lion from the tribe of Judah line. The prophecies said he is the choice vine, and he said that his blood was the new wine. He let his light from God shine, which made his body into a shrine. At his last supper they did dine, and ate his bread and drank the wine. He preached God¶s word and did refine, and exorcised demons and put them in swine. His followers brought the wave of the sine, and lit the Earth with the lamp of nine. And God and Jesus said they are mine, because they ate the bread and drank the wine. The Holy Spirit and Christ lit the cone of pine, and like a marriage they became intertwine.
To My Twin Flame
I finally found you, my love, you¶re the one I¶ve dreamed of. You are like a butterfly that is rare, I chased you around with my snare. I¶ve caught you and I won¶t let you go, there is something that I want you to know. I will love you always and forevermore, you are everything I¶ve been looking for. Though we are separated in time and space, I long for a time when we can embrace. I will always carry you inside of my heart, so nothing can ever keep us apart. I long for the time that you are by my side, when we will be as one, never to divide.
Come out of your cocoon and fly with me, I can take you to a place, we can be free. Bust through that cocoon into the light, use your wings, let your soul take flight. Come fly with me into the great unknown, to a place where we can never be alone. Infinite possibilities await you my love, let¶s fly away with the grace of a dove.
I am screaming to get out, to break through and shout. I want to be free right now, but I just don¶t know how. Can I break through this illusion, and cut through all of this confusion? I want true freedom to just be me, and to enjoy my life and live with glee. I want to fly so very high in the sky, and to leave my cocoon and say goodbye. To live my life so very free, to enjoy everything that I see. Not controlled by money and things, I just want to fly away with new wings. I want to live with unconditional love, which is the one thing I am deprived of. A world free of stern judging eyes, and a world in where no one ever cries. Jesus come and rescue me from this trap, it is time for me to break free and unwrap. I am ready to fly into the sky, and to ascend to a new world up so high.
The caterpillar lived all alone, because it chose to live on its own. It didn¶t quite fit in with the crowd, so living alone is what it avowed. But, then one day it mended a cocoon, and prepared for the changes very soon. It slept very quietly inside of its matrix, until one day it awakened and tried to transfix. It left its prison of the cocoon behind, to see if there was something new to find. It had changed into a beautiful butterfly, and flew up into the deep blue sky. It flew up and away from the Earth, to explore the universe with its rebirth.
A Beautiful Butterfly
Once a caterpillar, they climbed the stalk, dreaming of one day flying like a hawk. They entered their cocoon to change, and came out to increase their range. No longer limited to the ground, now they can fly all around. Butterflies are free to roam, everywhere is their home. A beautiful butterfly fluttering around, visiting every flower that it found. Flying through the air to glide, gently perching on the petal¶s side. Drinking the sweet nectar in a rose, its the only time that it slows. Pollinating every fragrant flower, perched in the plants colorful tower. No one can hear a butterfly fly, it is so elusive and very shy. It has such fragile and delicate wings, and to the soft petals it always clings. Butterflies roam the countryside, among the wildflowers is where they hide.
Catching one with a net is hard, they move quickly through your yard. Some butterflies are hard to find, especially if they are one of a kind. I like to chase butterflies among the flowers, and pursue them for many hours. I try to get the perfect shot, in pictures they are never forgot. The beautiful butterfly is peacefully free, I wish that someday that could be me.
You¶re so precious to me, like a butterfly that is free. I can¶t catch you in my net, but we sing a beautiful duet. I can¶t stand it that we are apart, and sometimes it breaks my heart. You and I should be as one, standing in the light of the son. You are like a shiny diamond ring, and I reflect that light you bring. Our love is stronger than fear, I just want to hold you so near. Storms can¶t tear us apart, we were together from the start. Opposite poles attract and so do we, like two magnets forced together, you see. No one can keep us from one another, you are my significant other. I can feel everything that you feel, and even all the things you can¶t reveal. I long for you to be together with me, this is the way God intended it to be.
I will fly with you in the garden of light, like two butterflies together in flight.
We journeyed into the boughs of the Earth, with fear and excitement mixed with mirth. We walked through the mud trying not to slip, holding on to the ceiling and rocks with a grip. We crawled through a passage on our hands and knees, wondering what other surprises that we might see. Stalactites, stalagmites, and cave pearls to name a few, mixed with columns and flowstones for us to view. There was a small overhang that we had to traverse, inside of the Earth¶s cavernous inner universe. We held on to the rope and went to the other side, passing the dark ravine as we followed our guide. Then we climbed up some rocks holding on to a rope, and continued along our downward slope. We then saw a waterfall illuminated by our light, an underground pool of water exposed to the twilight. Then our guide had us turn off all of our lights, and we saw the cave¶s natural sight. A world of wonders hidden by darkness inside, a world where unique treasures do hide.
The water was rushing all around, you could hear the roaring river¶s sound. The guide says to paddle hard on the right, so you paddle with all your might. Then we glide down a class 3 waterfall, with fear and excitement to enthrall. We hit the water with a big splash, then the whitewater carries us off in a dash. Rapids and huge boulders surrounds our view, you look back and wonder how you got through. The river is your highway to ride, among nature and beauty you will glide. It¶s the adventure tale of a lifetime, a beautiful mountain ride that leaves you sublime. A journey were unlikely to ever forget, Hey, is anybody ready to go back yet?
Snorkeling in the spring, peacefulness is what it brings. Just hearing the breathing sound, contentedness is what I found. All the problems are washed away, swimming in the spring that day. Watching the gentle fish swim, guarding the water like a cherubim. The springs bubble up into a boil, coming up through the soil. The sand gently dances around, to all of natures lovely sounds. The water is pure and crystal clear, the ground is deep....but it looks near. The water magnifies everything, it¶s nature¶s microscope in a spring.
I love to see the land from a horse, because I don¶t have to walk, of course. Trail rides are fun and relaxing to me, I feel like a cowgirl, wild and free. A rider becomes apart of the horse, a strong four legged animal of great force. I sit on the saddle way up in the air, and look at the beautiful landscape and stare. It is a natural way to see the land, to see it by horseback is very grand.
I really liked the day that I tried to hang glide, I ran off the sand dune and on the air I did ride. I felt my feet lift off of the ground and I was in the air, and I soared like a bird going who knows where. My legs curled up underneath me and I was a ball, and I was just hoping that I wouldn¶t fall. My stomach tickled me and I felt so alive, this was worth the money and the five hour drive. The instructor told me to pull in on the bar to land, and I was amazed when I hit the dune, that I could still stand. Because the wind was too fast we couldn¶t do another flight, but that one flight gave me so much delight. If I ever go back to Jockeys Dune State Park, then that is an adventure that I will embark. To fly like the birds with the air in your face, is to fly like an eagle with the utmost grace.
The Rope Course
I told my son to lead the way, he chose a course and we had to stay. There were 3 paths we could take, and most of them would make us shake. We first walked one rope and did sway, after we got out there we couldn¶t turn away. I held onto the rope as tight as I could, I couldn¶t believe that one rope is where I stood. I kept thinking, ³I hope these ropes aren¶t frayed´, I was depending on my harness and was afraid. There was only one cord to protect me if I fall, there was only one rope for a close call. It reminded me of relying on God to get me through, which I rely on him in everything I do. My son amazed me on that day, he was very brave as he led the way. Walking a beam was the hardest for me, as I stepped side by side, I wanted to flee. We were overcoming our fear of heights, and taking in some amazing sights. As we rounded a boulder on a thin ledge, I hugged the boulder why clinging to the edge.
We would go out on a rope that would sway, and you couldn¶t turn back, as it was only one-way. We had to dig deep inside to overcome fear, and keep on our chosen path and persevere. The rope course was a metaphor for our life, with all of our problems and our strife. We hold onto hope and love every day, and we rely on our cord with God as we pray. We always make it through every obstacle we endure, even though we encounter problems that make us unsure.
The Greatest Adventure
It doesn¶t matter where I have been to, or all of the adventurous things I do. Everything exciting to discover is in me, it isn¶t what I can hear, feel, smell, taste or see. The greatest adventure is in unlocking my mind, and discovering what knowledge my soul can find. All of the answers to life are inside of me, unlocking this realization will set you free. Using experiences to learn valuable things, and watching the good fortune that this brings. In this way, every experience is a good one, and all sources of learning become fun. All of my adventures are metaphors for life, how do I deal and learn from the everyday strife. Am I willing to trust God and overcome my fear, on the course of life¶s ocean, which way do I steer? My knowledge determines what path I take, learning lessons for my own soul¶s sake. My adventure streak was about overcoming fear, and trusting in God with every experience here. Monatomics and healing codes helped me find the way,
an adventure of the soul¶s mind that will always stay. The greatest adventure of all, was in finding me, unlocking this way of life has set me free.
Colorful mountains that reach towards the sky, and captures the attention of our eye. Beautiful stone covered rivers where whitewater flows, it etches deeper in the ground and rock, which now shows. The country, mountaineer roads snake back and forth, transforming the mountains views which seem to morph. The rugged, jagged rocks stick up in the cool mountain air, and people traveling through the state just watch and stare. A hillbilly¶s paradise where beauty and splendor abound, and where the mode of traveling, in mountains, is to go around. Or through the mountain¶s tunnels or the canyons you ride, every West Virginian looks upon the views with pride. The underground coal mines have mostly gone and WV did change, and strip mining now makes some places look very strange. But the legacy and heritage of coal mining still lives on, in the families memories of the old days, that are foregone. The limestone caverns hide their formations under the ground, you have to go caving for that beauty to be found.
Whitewater rafters and rock climbers come to this state, and find the rural countryside¶s beauty looks so great. So if your ever in West Virginia, get off the interstate and look, and you will find mountains, rocks, caves, and a many stone covered brook. West Virginia is more than a state, it¶s a work of art, and the people are friendly and you will never want to depart.
The endless beaches stretch as far as you can see, and on a humid summer¶s day, that¶s the place to be. A cool breeze coming off the ocean would sway the palm tree, while I would sit on the sun porch drinking my sweet ice tea. I watched the sun rise over the ocean as seagulls flied by, and watched the colors dance on the water and in the sky. I saw alligators glide through the water searching for prey, or sleeping on the shore, warming themselves on a sunny day. The manatees swam into Blue Springs on a cold winter¶s day, leaving the St. John¶s River to find warm water in which to stay. I snorkeled in the clear crystal waters and watched fish swim by, and the many colored fish acted as if they didn¶t care that we spy. I canoed at many springs and rivers watching wildlife all around, discovering the many treasures hidden that we have found. I have seen many space shuttles lifting off into the vast sky, and heard the sonic boom which seemed to echo goodbye. And Walt Disney World transports everyone to a magical place, it brings out the child like behavior that we long to embrace. I remember the sweet smell of orange blossoms filling the air, or the salty, fishy smell of the ocean breeze is also fair. I Walked down the boardwalk with a pina-colada in my hand,
while I would listen to the tropical sounds of a steel drum band. In Daytona Beach, I would cruise on the beach in my car, watching a sailboat dance around the ocean from afar. The people of Florida are from many different places, they add so much there, with all their smiling faces. The Floridians don¶t care about what people think of them, a place where you can be yourself, is like a priceless gem.
The waterfall cascaded into the sea, while the breeze gently swayed the tree. The Palm tree standing mighty and tall, on the hillside facing the waterfall. The grassy, rocky hill was covered in pink, beautiful flowers perched on the brink. The sandy beach lay below the cliff¶s rocky edge, a paradise scenery lays below the ledge. The rocky hills extend into the sea¶s harsh waves, and I wonder if the rocky shore has any caves. My eyes stayed glued to the awesome view, the wispy clouds in the sky surfs the blue. The turquoise water touches the deep blue sea, the beautiful scenery touches the heart and soul of me. The vivid colors fill my eyes with delight, nature has painted an awesome sight. God is a sculptor and the artist of the Earth, he fills my heart and soul with mirth.
I was mesmerized at Sedona by all the red rock, and I didn¶t realize that we were racing against the clock. By the time we got to Thumb, it was getting late, and I forgot that the sunset wasn¶t at eight. With all the time zone changes, I forgot, that I needed to arrive earlier at this spot. I was in such a hurry that I took off in a flash, and we walked up the path quickly in a dash, Then I saw that the sun was quickly descending, and that our daylight would soon be ending. My son and I watched the sunset as we climbed, I knew that our hike was really ill-timed. We got to the top and the sun had just set, and we were tired, but still hadn¶t gone back down yet. Luckily, there was a full moon out that night, and so we had a little bit of moon light. My son and I prayed as we started our descent, we held hands for support and off we went. I hoped that there weren¶t any wild animals there, I didn¶t want to meet a cougar or a bear. We managed to have enough light to see our way down, and we kept seeing the light from Prescott¶s town.
At one point, my son pointed out a light on the path below, we knew that it might be my parents with their flashlight glow. Then at some point we heard a car horn blow, and we knew that they were waiting for us below. Somehow we were able to stay on our path and didn¶t fall, we climbed up Thumb Butte and it was a close call. We climbed back down in the darkness of night, but we still could see our path because we had some light.
Gone Too Soon
She was excited about her life, despite all of her strife. Her enthusiasm abounds, her personality astounds. So much to live for, until death came knocking at her door. Blessed with the love of her child, God gave her this gift and smiled. So many beautiful pictures of them, their love as beautiful as a precious gem. Mother and daughter separated too soon, A beautiful butterfly has left her cocoon. But death can¶t separate their love, as the Mother watches her from above. Gone too soon from this Earth, she¶s up in Heaven filled with mirth.
Have You Ever Felt««
Like you don¶t know what to do, or how in life to make it through. That maybe you just don¶t have a clue, on how to live your life so true. That you can¶t see through the lies, by staring into someone¶s eyes. Confused by everything that happens here, you don¶t understand everything you hear. Mystified by the games people play, wishing you could understand for just one day. Totally lost and like you can¶t be found, until you can reach some common ground. The pain of heartache and discontent, by past mistakes that brought only torment. Like life is impossible to understand, and that this isn¶t the life that you planned.
There is a place that I go, that reality doesn¶t know. When I shut my eyes at night, I behold a beautiful sight. My toes sink into the sand, the greenish sea meets the strand. The sunrays fall onto the sea, like a mirror reflecting on me. A cove and rocky cliffs merge, the rocks and sea converge. The palm trees hug the sandy shore, and there is a garden to explore. The flowers cover the inland grove, a beautiful quilt that nature wove. In a distance, the waterfall gushes down, the moss covered rocky cliff of brown. The emerald green water flows into a pool, while tropical fish swim in a school. To the right is a cabin made of logs, pass the rocky stream and the bogs. This is my own personal beach, where reality can never reach.
My painting in my mind, a place where I can unwind.
As darkness falls upon the land, a full moon lights the sky so grand. The moon reflects the light of the sun, no star can outshine it, not even one. The white light shines so very bright, and the night sky is filled with the light. We are like that moon that shines above, reflecting the light of the son, with love.
Trapped in a Bubble
I feel like I¶m trapped in a bubble all by myself, or inside a snow globe on a shelf. I can see everything going on around me, but sometimes I feel like I¶m trapped and not free. Trapped by rules that I don¶t understand, and sometimes it is more then I can withstand. I want more from my life then being here, I want to live in a world without any fear. I want to break down barriers and tear down walls, and show them all what beauty befalls. I want to experience unconditional love, and walk with God who is up above. I want to say whatever the hell I feel, and not feel like I have to conceal. I want to be open and honest and say anything, and see whatever that will bring. Throw caution to the wind and be bold, and not to worry over who will scold. I just want to be free of this bubble in space, and find where I belong in another place.

I just built my wall, It is strong and tall. I can hide in here, without any fear. I will be safe now, with peace I allow. No wars in here, no criticisms do I hear. I¶m free from pain, protected from rain. A castle strong and tall, surrounded by the wall. Then««.. I hear talking outside, ³Hey, why do you hide?´ ³I¶m safe inside here´, ³What do you fear?´ ³I don¶t want to get hurt´, Is what I quickly blurt. ³It¶s OK, we will protect you´, ³you just have to break through.´
³But I spent a long time on this wall,´ ³now you want for it to fall?´
"Although it's safe inside, you can't just stay and hide, you'll never know what it's about, unless you venture out.´ ³Some pain there just might be. But that is life you see. So come on out´, they say. But she thinks, ³There¶s just no way.´ She'd rather be safe and sound. Then hurt out there and found....... "But the safe way is the fools way, and that's no way for life, and we'll be by your side, so please come out and try, you may find many good things. alongside all the bad. And joy, adventure, wonder... alongside all the sad"
Trust Issues Part 2
By: Roberta Ruth Hill, Stella Burnette Phelps & Angela Marie Green
Does she want to go out, Or stay inside and pout? She thinks about everything, What will a new life bring? Does she want to take a chance, Or just take a quick glance? The wall protects her from pain, It keeps her from going insane. If she breaks it down now, What will that allow? Will she be happy or sad, Become joyful or mad? What if she gets hurt once more, Is love something she can restore? Her heart says, ³yes´ but her mind Says , ³no, more love can she find´. Does she trust in her heart, And is it time to depart? She thinks about it for awhile,
And then she starts to smile. It is worth tearing down this wall, Good memories of her past she can recall. It¶s time to tear down this wall, There is no more reason to stall. Her love had turned to stone, And it left her feeling all alone. She picked up a hammer and hit, The stone wall which began to split. Today was the day for this wall, To be torn apart and fall.
The wall she finds so painful after all, She must trust her instincts so she won¶t fall. Yes, the world contains hurt and deceit, Now she is strong and can conquer any defeat. Yes, break down the wall. Let it fall! Always be cautious no matter what, And protect that tender heart as she was taught. Gone is the past, No need to regret. No reason to pout, no reason to fret.
She'll look towards the future, she knows it is near. She'll decide to ignore that illusion called fear. She'll keep on a smile and knows that in time. That mountain ahead she'll be able to climb. Crumbled wall now behind her; the sun up ahead. She smiles at the future, for the past now is dead.
Ed¶s Sweet Sixteen
(Coral Castle, FL)
He fell in love with his sweet sixteen, the prettiest girl he had ever seen. He asked her to marry him one day, but true love did not stay. She called off the wedding to Ed, and Ed just wished he was dead. He went to America to just get away, jilted and broke, he would make a way. He worked out west as a lumber jack, knowing that he could never go back. He became sick with TB some say, so he moved to Florida one fine day. After he cured himself he began to build, like a stone mason that was very skilled. He built a castle for his sweet sixteen, a castle that he built for his queen. He hoped that one day she would come, and leave Latvia, where they were from. But she never moved there to be with Ed, and instead, he found her love was dead. Ed¶s love eventually turned to stone, and he was left in a castle all alone.
Trapped behind the walls that he built, and riddled with his extreme guilt. Why did he leave her and he didn¶t fight, for his passionate love that felt so right. He gave up on her and left her all alone, and then his love had turned to stone.
I woke up this morning to a mystic sunrise, nature had painted a splendid surprise. The colors were reflected in a colorful collage, with an orangish, yellowish and pinkish mirage. The clouds reflected the sunlight all over the sky, the canvas for nature's painting hanging so high. I grabbed my camera and began to shoot, getting a realistic picture was my pursuit. Nature paints with colors of beautiful light, and reflection in clouds and water shows such delight. The painting slowly changed before my eyes, when some clouds turned purple in the sky. I stood there mystified by the cosmic show, as I watched the luminescent colors glow. But slowly the moving painting did disappear, as the sun slowly began to appear.
The Ice Storm
The clear, cold ice coated every tree, ice is everywhere that I can see. The limbs hang heavy toward the ground, and broken limbs are everywhere to be found. The trees look like crystalized forms, they have been changed by the ice storm. They shine in a beautiful glistening white, their limbs reflect all of the light. Icicles hang in every size and shape, they decorate a magical landscape. The grass is covered with ice shining so bright, they look like miniature shapes of stalagmites. Now the trees are weeping for their loss, and the trees are losing their shiny gloss. Chunks of ice are falling from the tree, I hope they don't fall on me.
THE PERFECT DAY
I woke up this morning feeling so fine, I heard the birds and smelled fresh pine. I went grocery shopping, and they gave away food, And everyone smiled which showed their good mood. I looked at the newspaper and they said sickness had gone, And throughout the whole day I never even felt alone. Then I picked up my son and he was really feeling great, And I told him his diabetes was cured as we communicate. His autism too was gone on this very day, And we did rejoice and begin to pray. Everyone we saw was in such a jolly mood, And life for once seemed to be nothing but good. People were working together for the first time, And I saw that there was no more crime. On that very day not a negative thought came to mind, Because everyone I met was acting so kind. The rich and the poor were no longer here, For we were all equal which made me cheer. The homeless were welcomed to stay inside, And then everyone had shelter in which to reside. No one was going hungry anymore, And we all knew what life was for. The air smelled clean with a sweet scent, And we walked around not caring where we went. The water in the pond became very clear, And the animals came all around us, even the deer. The flowers were brighter than they had ever been, And the Earth was more beautiful than I had ever seen.
The whole day seemed so perfect to me, And the angels were visible for all to see. This was indeed the perfect day, And I hoped that it would never go away. I pinched myself to see if I was awake, But then I woke up and began to shake. After I had fully awaken I started to scream, Then I went back to sleep to relive my dream.
