Please accept this letter as a formal request for the following public records: A) The Hazard, Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (or like report) for the downtown Vancouver Stanley Cup playoffs live sites/fan zones that operated on game days between May 15-June 15, 2011. (The report would have been produced before or during the event period); B) Situation reports for the June 10, 13 and 15/16, 2011 event days; C) the after-action review for emergency management of the live sites/fan zones. I believe the records would be held or generated by the Emergency Management Division, whose director is Kevin Wallinger and manager is Daniel Stevens. Should the records not be there, please continue your search in engineering and community services. I am making this request under the B.C. Freedom of Information Act in the public interest as a member of the media and would prefer to receive copies of the records via email. My preferred method of routine communication is via email.
