2023 Garbage Notification:

Starting January 4th, 2023, garbage will be picked up by Tamaqua Transfer.

Pick-up will start on Wednesday, January 4th, 2023 and continue every Wednesday
throughout the year.
(Put garbage out Tuesday night for Wednesday morning pick-up)

Same requirements are as follows:

3 bags and 1 big item per week
NO ELECTRONICS/APPLIANCES: microwaves, dryers, washers, refrigerators,
TV’s, etc.

Monday, May 29th Memorial Day

*Garbage will be picked up on Thursday, June 1st.
(Garbage out Wednesday night for early Thursday morning pickup)

Tuesday, July 4th Independence Day

*Garbage will be picked up on Thursday, July 6th.
(Garbage out Wednesday night for early Thursday morning pickup)

Monday, September 4th, Labor Day

*Garbage will be picked up on Thursday, September 7th.
(Garbage out Wednesday night for early Thursday morning pickup)

Monday, December 25th, Christmas Day

*Garbage will be picked up on Thursday, December 28th.
(Garbage out Wednesday night for early Thursday morning pickup)

**Tamaqua Transfer: New Years & Thanksgiving does not affect our pickup for
2023.
