A sweatshirt with a hood. To protect your face from tear gas

Protective glasses (can be bought at any metalworking or paint shops)

A lid of a pot. Can be used as a shield if the state security hit you with batons or shoot rubber bullets at you

A scarf to protect your mouth and your lungs from tear gas.

A rose. As a sign that we will act together to do what we have to do in the most peaceful way possible.

Spray Paint. So that if the authorities hit us, we can spray the visors of their helmets and the windscreens of their armoured trucks, blocking their vision and hampering their movement. Oyster shucking gloves. To help protect your hands from the heat of tear gas bombs.

Comfortable shoes to run, and be able to move, quickly.

Everyone should take to the streets. It will be difficult for security forces to harm their mothers, brothers and sisters and their children If the security forces prevent us from marching, we will all start to shout positive slogans, like "Long live Egypt", "Down with injustice and corruption", then we will try to pierce through the obstacles. Should the security forces start attacking us , the two first rows must step back (remaining calm), the back rows should take out their shields and the spray paint to pierce through the obstacles. Maintaining organisation will be crucial.

Breaking through will be achieved by pushing back the rows of security forces personnel with coordination. This will be possible by undertaking three consecutive pushes from the crowd all together, and then pushing for a fourth time into their lines which will take them by surprise. After you commence shouting slogans, keep the chants going. It is better to choose one or two simple slogans that can be clearly heard by everyone and repeated easily. The closer that we get to the security forces, the less able they will be to throw tear gas at us (and the more power we will have over them) Should the security forces personnel throw tear gas at us, please remain calm and maintain your position. If you panic, you will inhale more gas.

Should you hear bombing, don't run away. Stay in your row and place the shield over your head and you will be safe. Always keep in mind that the effect of the tear gas is very temporary.

10 - Should an unexploded tear gas bomb land near you, grab the bomb and throw it back towards the security forces (wearing gloves is recommended) .

13 - Protecting our fellow brothers and sisters is paramount; and takes priority over striking back at the security forces. 14 - No vandalism or destruction. 15 - Encourage spectators to take part in the fight for freedom. 16 - Distribute the alternative mission statements between different groups of activists. 17 - Keep in mind that buildings are considered as towers of control for the popular movement 18 - Don't let any Police officers infiltrate the crowd. Should they join the movement, aim to restrict them to the outer rows. 19 - Maintain positivity and group morale by encouraging each other.
