3 This Addendum shall form part of Tender No. PW2011-05. Tenderers must include this addendum in their tender submission and acknowledge receipt hereof. 1. Clarification Stainless Steel, minimum Sched 10S, may be supplied in place of Sched 40 carbon steel for inlet, outlet and drain piping. Wrap stainless steel pipe with Denso tape, or approved alternate, where it is to be buried. 2. Clarification The reservoir drain pipe is to be 250 mm. 3. Clarification Inverts of all piping to be confirmed following receipt of slab and footing design. DIVISION 2 EARTHWORK 4. 2.04 Testing of Compaction Delete: Cost of testing by the Contractor shall be included in the Contract Price.

DIVISION 6 PIPEWORK 5. New 6.06 Water Sampling Station Add: 6.06 Water Sampling Station Three water sampling stations shall be provided for the High, Middle and Low points in the reservoir. Each sampling station shall have a 20 mm PVC pipe, complete with grouted steel sleeve, into the reservoir and to the sampling height. This pipe shall be secured to the reservoir at maximum 1.2 m intervals. Sampling points shall be: 1. High sampling point at 106.0 m 2. Middle sampling point at 103.5 m 3. Low sampling point at 101.0 m

Sampling station shall be 1 m bury, with a 20 mm FIP inlet, and 20 mm hose nozzle. All stations shall be enclosed in a lockable, non-removable, aluminum-cast housing. When opened, the station shall require no key for operation and the water will flow in an all brass waterway. All working parts shall be of brass and be removable from above ground with no digging. Standpipe shall be galvanized steel. Sampling station shall connect to reservoir with PVC pipe. Curbstop, complete with Nelson type valve box. A copper vent tube will enable each station to be pumped free of standing water to prevent freezing and to minimize bacteria growth. Approved model: Eclipse No. 88 sampling station, as manufactured by Kupferle Foundry, St. Louis, available from EMCO Ltd (604-888-5533), or approved alternate.
