LTE eNodeB Digital Module

The Alcatel-Lucent LTE eNodeB Digital module provides operators with a zero footprint, high capacity and software-only LTE evolution for their networks. This module integrates into existing sites with minimal site impact and provides high capacity combined with class-leading total cost of ownership. The LTE eNodeB Digital software can be deployed with existing W-CDMA assets to enable investment protection and asset reuse, thus simplifying the upgrade to LTE. The module can dramatically lower the cost of IP traffic to help operators improve network efficiency and create new revenue-generating services.

Benefits
Smooth introduction of LTE in an existing 3G network allows for reuse of: Existing RF assets Existing site equipment Self-optimizing network (SON) support minimizes deployment complexity and optimization Software-driven solution ensures low TCO Software upgradeability enables flexibility and pay-as-you-grow strategies Module can be integrated in any deployed network

Features
High capacity, ultra-compact digital module Full MIMO support RF flexibility with CPRI and daisy chaining support for all spectrum bands Up to three modem units per module Software capacity licensing Support for both single cabinet and distributed solutions Self-optimizing network support Stackable for six-sector deployments in 20 MHz
