Fusion Powered Flying Home

The sketch here shows a 150 ton vehicle congured as a self-sustaining home. Complete with high-intensity farming to support seven persons. Equipped with a self-replicating automated machine-tool system that is self-maintaining. This fusion powered vehicle has space ight capability as well as ability to operate under-water, at sea, or in the air. The home is powered by lithium/ deuterium aneutronic fusion plant. This plant uses chemical compression to produce a series of inertial connement fusion pulses to produce signicant power from alpha particle bursts. Using fusion powered microjet skin the home is propelled in any direction. The home normally oats in the sky for extended periods. The home is stable and may oat on the ocean indenitely. A 30 million ton per year idled ship construction capability exists today. A total of 200,000 of these homes may be constructed per year. Sold at $5 million each, sales of $1 trillion per year are achieved. There are 10.1 million millionaires holding $40 trillion in liquid assets and twenty years of construction may be supported.

The home silently and safely ies to any point on Earth at 1,000 km/hr in the troposphere. Ascending to the stratosphere, the home may blast across the solar system at constant gee. Homes land softly on any suitable body. Two homes may be tethered together to form a rotating system to maintain constant gravity within the home in zero-gee situations. The house is capable of operating to a 200 meter depth in water and moves 50 km/hr underwater and 150 km/hr while oating on the surface. This video shows how simple solid state controls are used to maintain dynamic stability in systems that are at root unstable. Similar control systems in conjunction with the fusion powered rocket/jet/propulsion maintain absolute stability of the ight system shown. A 'machine cell' is being developed. Spread evenly across the surface of the Earth in a single layer, each home will be separated from all others by 570 meters. Machine cell based devices may self-assemble anywhere at any time. The individual cells may move as a fog or cloud bank and self assemble at a location and time indicated by an operator. So, a fog may form around an individual and turn into a small spacecraft, and transport that person away without the need of the craft landing or the person getting in or out of the vehicle. This process may be reversed at the end of the journey with the craft dissolving leaving the operator at their desired location. The machine cells then become available to the stock of free cells to make new and perhaps different machines as needed. A fog of sensory machine cells - interconnected by a shadownet - provide information across the surface of the Earth - including the depths of the Earth, and the extent of the atmosphere. Information which is used to direct the activity of machine cells. The shadownet also is programmed to minimize violent and dangerous interactions among all people while maintaining a least restrictive environment. All weapons are rendered ineffective by this machine cell fog by minimal intervention in their operation even while every person's immediate needs are met and they are transported to homes of the type described here.
