Abstract
The objective of the study is to find whether the undergraduate students of BRAC University find it more attractive to stay and work in Dhaka after they graduate from the institution. For the purpose of the research, we conducted a questionnaire survey of 32 current BRAC University students on a random basis. Questions were asked on their perspective of a job in Dhaka, job outside Dhaka, factors that motivate them to stay and work in Dhaka and what will make them to consider a job outside Dhaka. Findings suggest that most of them would like to work in Dhaka because Dhaka, as the capital city, offers better job opportunity; better facilities and they can stay close to their families. Providing better salaries and creating more jobs outside Dhaka with standard facilities might motivate them to work outside Dhaka after they graduate.

Introduction
There has been a trend that private University students are reluctant to work outside Dhaka. The mains reasons of this are the facilities available in Dhaka city which is not present in most other cities in Bangladesh. These facilities include infrastructural, recreational, educational and such other facili ties. As the private University students get used to these facilities, after they graduate, that want to work in the city and oppose going to other cities of the country. As Bangladesh is a developing country, development is required in all parts of the c ountry, not only the capital city. The general idea of this research is to find out whether BRAC University students want to do job outside Dhaka city after graduation. And if not, what are the factors pulling them back from doing jobs outside Dhaka. And also find out what factors might motivate them to do job outside Dhaka. There has not been any research on this topic before in Bangladesh. Neither has there been any research on a topic related to this topic. The research is on BRAC University students. By surveying BRAC university students, we want to derive a general trend that is being followed by most private University students. The research is significant because, nowadays a lot of firms and industries are being opened

3. The viewpoint of the masses is more important than a few individuals who might have a unique view to this point. The feedbacks were analyzed in a qualitative and quantitative manner. A sample size of 32 students was taken. the study predicts the attitude of the next generation of employees and their preferred geographical region for job in Bangladesh. This research will also help them to know which factors will motivate them to work outside Dhaka. To find out the factors that is keeping fresh graduates in Dhaka.outside the city to save cost by locating outside the capital and to reap other benefits. 2 students in Electronics and Communication Engineering (EEE) Department and 1 student in Architecture 3|Page . 26 were enrolled in BRAC Business School (BBS) Department. Thus a research on whether students are willing to work outside Dhaka is important. 2. Our first question to students explicitly quite general is in which department the students were enrolled with at BRAC University. Findings To conduct our research on whether undergraduate students of BRAC University prefers job in Dhaka after completing their graduation we have taken a sample of 32 students. 3 students in School of Law department. Objectives The research objectives were: 1. Out of 32 students. This will help to predict the results from other private universities also. Methodology A questionnaire survey was conducted in BRAC University. a questionnaire survey was conducted. As the population is large. To find out the factors preventing fresh graduates from taking job outside Dhaka. In return. 4. To find out what will motivate them to take job outside Dhaka. To find out whether they will remain in Dhaka even if life in the city is getting miserable. as through this research we can find out whether it would be hard for such new firms to recruit fresh graduates.

people prefer staying here. that is. theatres. but still. a majority of the students admitted that given a healthy salary. the facilities available in this city cannot be compared with any other cities in the country. restaurants. Family binding was also a very big factor noticed in students. Conclusion The main purpose of this report was to find whether BRAC University students want to work outside Dhaka after they have done their bachelors. school for their children becomes a major issu e. shopping malls etc. some students who were born outside. Whereas. are more likely to remain in Dhaka and work over here. We nowadays see a trend in the young people that the generally prefer to stay in the capital city. Though our surveyed students didn t say much about the educational facilities. but still day by day the scenario is changing. The students showed the main reasons for them wanting to work in Dhaka were that they had better job opportunities in Dhaka. it ca n be said that the students of BRAC University prefer doing job rather in Dhaka than in any other places in Bangladesh. 20 | P a g e . but when they start doing the job and their family expands. the law and order system of the city is also very good. the students who were born in Dhaka and studied over here. According to the findings of this article. All these factors play a very vital role in the decision of the student for working outside the city. The infrastructure of the city is very good. The city has very good educational facilities starting from schools to colleges and universities. Moreover. Salary plays a vital role. This is mainly because Dhaka is the capital city. Infrastructure includes the transportation. communication. they are ready to work outside. Though a lot of crimes take place in the city. Then here are the entertainment facilities starting from amusement parks to other recreational places like parks. Though we had our own limitations in case of taking a very small sample. We sorted out s ome questions and wanted to derive to a conclusion through a survey. Though Dhaka is getting populous every day. but this sample survey gives us a thorough look at the scenario. Dhaka didn t mind doing jobs at where they were born.

then in the near future. if the conditions of the other cities of the country can be improved in case of educational. We could arrive to this conclusion as the majority of the surveyed students stated this. 21 | P a g e . Thus. From this research we can conclude that the students of BRAC University prefer working in the capital city of Dhaka rather in any other city in Bangladesh. recreational and infrastructural facilities which creates a better working condition and good job opportunities. we may expect students to actually be self motivated to work outside the city.
