LEDs AC Presence of the primary power source This LED is on if no mains breakdown alarm is activated DC output voltage within specified tolerance This LED is on if the alarm 48OTB is not activated; the LED must be off in case the internal supply voltage of the controller board is down. Battery system 0 or temperature sensor on battery system 0 is faulty. This LED is on if the alarms BAT_0_FAIL and/or TEMP_SENSE_FAIL0 are activated. Battery system 1 or temperature sensor on battery system 1 is faulty. This LED is on if the alarms BAT_1_FAIL and/or TEMP_SENSE_FAIL1 are activated. Over- / Undertemperature protection This LED is on if the over- or undertemperature protection is triggered. This LED is active during RESET. After Power On of the AC/DC controller this LED goes on. As soon as the microcontroller enters the state of normal operation (is able to retrigger the watchdog and activate the CAN Bus interface), the LED goes off.

Selectable Battery Capacities: 0Ah (no battery), 5Ah, 10Ah,...1275Ah. The battery capacities can be set with two 8 bit DIP switches, one for each battery block; 1 LSB = 5Ah. The setting is calculated by adding all values where the contacts of the DIP switch are set to ON. 640 Ah 320 Ah 160 Ah 80 Ah 40 Ah 20 Ah 10 Ah 5 Ah

The state of the object BATTERY does not depend on the existence of a real battery. It depends on the Battery Capacity DIP switch settings on the DCBCTRL module. If one of these two DIP switches is set to a value different from 0 Ah, the respective HMO BATTERY goes to enabled. Selectable Slot-ID: The CAN-Bus address can be set with a 2 bit DIP switch in order to distinguish between two different AC/DC frames mounted to one rack.

LEDs AC Presence of the primary power source The LED is on if no mains breakdown alarm is activated DC output voltage within specified tolerance The LED is on if the alarm 48OTB is not activated; the LED must be off in case the internal supply voltage of the controller board is down. The Bat-Fail alarm is activated if one of these conditions has occurred: 1. Temperature sensor on battery is off or failed. 2. Battery Rough Test failed. 3. Battery Capacity Test failed. 4. Battery connected with wrong (inverted) polarity. 5. Signal TEMP_SENSE_FAIL0 is activated (temperature is above 81C (178F), or below -49C (-56F)) This LED is on if the over-/undertemperature protection is activated (temperature is above 67C (153F), or below -1C (30F)) This LED is active during RESET. After Power On of the AC/DC controller this LED goes on. As soon as the microcontroller enters the state of normal operation, the LED goes off. This LED goes on if the charging voltage is switched from float charging (depending on battery type and battery temperature) to equalize charging (setting range: -55.4V ... -57.4V, factory setting: -56.4V). The equalize mode is switched on via push button Fl/EQU on the DCBCTRL front panel, or by software. The equalize mode is switched off after 30 minutes (factory setting), or if one of the following alarms / conditions occurs: 1. AC out of specified range. 2. DC out of specified range. 3. Temp protection. 4: Temp sensor fail. 5: LVD disconnect alarm. 6: Breaker disconnect. 7. Temp alarm. 8. Battery capacity equals to zero. 9. Battery fail alarm 10. Battery capacity test 11. Battery rough test This LED is on if only one rectifier is faulty. This LED is on if two or more rectifiers are faulty.

This LED is on if the Low Voltage relay has disconnected (i.e. the magnitude of the DC battery voltage is below -40V 0.5V). The relay is switched on again if the magnitude of the DC battery voltage is above -45V. This LED is on if the battery breaker has disconnected. (currently not used)
