Teaching Aids Teacher Reinforcement Over 1600 New enrollments

News Letter TEACHING AIDS Effective way of teaching believes in concrete and live presentation and exposure towards objects to understand the concepts clearly. Wide verities of teaching aids were prepared to give a better understanding of them to teachers and show them as how to use them in their classroom. Content staff has researched and brought in with innovative ideas on the subject to bring the similar kind of attitude and passion to work on teaching ideas. Rama Krishna CONSISTENT TRAINING Training for all Primary and Pre-Primary teachers was conducted for August content at two centers Jogipet and Kusumanchi. Trainers made a wide verity of teaching aid at HO and focused on the activity based and teaching methodologies in training. Academic trainers and Academic mentors facilitated teachers in every activity to learn and demonstrate. Best teacher of the month

Best Teacher (Male)Mr.Ramakrishna Kodada. Best Teacher Female Ms.Kusumi from VM Banjara Pre-School, Sattupalli. Ramakrishna working with bodhi schools since 2010 at Kodada, Nalgonda District. Mathematics is his area of interest. He believes in improving the quality towards teaching and learning among all the teachers and children. He was found and observed as one of the best teachers among monitored schools. His dedication towards the subject, and his behavior towards kids and teaching implementation was extremely good. Mrs. Kusumi Pre-primary teacher working with Bodhi schools since 2009 Post graduate in M.Sc Math. Her love for kids and passion for teaching makes her best among all.

Both teachers were felicitated in the training with a Sash and certificate. They have not only implemented what was trained but also used creative ideas in their methodology.

Mood Meter

Mood meter was set to assess the training and facilitators to make improvement in the process and delivery. This gives us a better idea on how training be made more interesting and deliverable so that each individual enjoys learning and implement further. It has four categories which express gestures on their interest levels. Very Interesting Interesting Boring Not Interesting Through the feedback from teachers we can design and modify the training sessions and make them more interactive and interesting. During the trainings our trainers are asking teachers what they are expecting from the future trainings and assess their needs to handhold them and increase their teaching abilities.

MBT MEET SKS Mutual Benefit Trust Annual general body meeting was organized on 23 06 2011 at S.N. Reddy Gardens BHEL. In the meet Bodhi School presented, teaching methodology and activities done at school level and the changes that have been made in the school infrastructure and system. Bodhi students from Zaheerabad School have performed a skit and showed what they have learned in schools before the huge audience and their parents felt very happy and proud with their performance. The clients were quite surprised seeing their neighboring village kids have performed with such high confidence and excellence. Updated MBT members and STAPL Board members about new and total enrolments, facilities provide at schools like transport, infrastructure like dual tables, facelift of the schools, last year achievements on academics, new initiatives like English development Programs etc. Bodhi educational Stall was organized which displayed the Books, Teaching material, Teaching aids and Play material that are used at schools as a part of Content & Curriculum. Members and other staff of MFI visited the bodhi education stall and got further details about the teaching methodology.

School of the Month In this feature we would like to introduce our schools. This month we are introducing the Bhuvanagiri School popularly known as Bhongir, Nalgonda District. This year total strength of this school is crossing 200 children compared to 96 in last year. The face-lifting work is in progress and by 15th August we are finishing the work to make school more attractive and child friendly. School is equipped with a transportation Bus and a Small Van to bring children from nearby villages and local colonies.
