Lycan Special rules.

Lycanthrope All lycans are immune to panic. All Models with this special rule also cause fear. Spells cast by the Lore of Beasts targeting a model with this special rule treats it as though the it was targeting Beastmen.

Thick Hide All models with this special rule have a natural 6+ armor which can be combined with other equipment as normal, including armor. This save is increased to 5+ vs. shooting that does not count as magical.

Ancestral Hatred All models with this special rule hate all models from the Vampire Counts Army book.

Unnatural Origin All models with this special rule will attack using two claws, counted as though the model was using two hand weapons. They cannot be provided a shield, nor magical weapons. However their claws count as magical attacks.

Blood Clan Members of the blood clan were the original Lycans who made their way out of the clutches of the vampire lords to create their own nation, as result of years of slavery, abuse, and at the hands of the Vampires they have a special place in their hearts for the undead lords. However with age also comes wisdom. All members of the Blood Clan get +1 to the leadership in their profile. Models who belong to the blood clan have the special rule Hatred Everyone for the first round of each combat. They also hate any model from the Vampire Counts Army book on every round of combat. Members of the blood clan cannot join units who are of the RageClaw Clan

Rageclaw Clan Members of the Rageclaw clan are generally younger Lycans, less experienced but filled with the rage and fury that made the lycanthropes famous. Models who belong to the rageclaw clan are Frenzied.

The current queen of the Lycans, powerful and wise beyond that of all other Lycans. A powerful caster, and warrior in her own right. Loremaster Beasts. Kanthra is a level 4 caster and knows all the spells from the lore of beasts.
Crown of Blood The crown gives Kanthra and her unit a 4+ ward save vs magic and magical attacks.

Also gives +1 dispel dice on each magic phase

No one knows for sure where he came from, suffering the same augmentations as the other great silver wolves but with some sort of a almost... evil aura about him. Seems he wasn't actually a human before the transformation, but now regardless seems loyal to the Lycan people. He is watched but slowly becoming a trusted member of the race.

Equipment Heavy armor Unearthly Aura Kassion is not like other lycans, he did not come from a human form. No one but he himself knows what he used to be, but whatever it was he seems to still hold on to some of his former power. Kassion causes Terror and has a 5+ ward save.

Son of the late King Keadian, Prince Kelvin is the heir to the throne of the land. Still young and rash he has yet to be given the crown, however his support is growing as war with the beastmen is becoming more and more of a problem.

Prince Kelvin if included must be your armies general, unless Queen Kanthra also enters the battlefield.

Equipment Heavy Armor

Amulet of eternal rage For every wounds suffered by Kelvin he gains 1 attack to his profile. These attacks will not remain should he be healed in anyway. Regardless of who strikes first or even if he would die in combat (unless it's a killing blow) he will still strike back. Beastial Crown Taken from the general of a beastman raiding party, the crown itself does not actually contain any magic, however the means in which the prince received the crown is of most importance. After savagely killing off the raiding party Prince Kelvin took the general in front of all of his people, and savagely tortured him. This raid marked the declaration of war by the Lycan People on the beastmen. Any unit Prince Kelvin joins are considered stubborn

Royal Fury

Prince Kelvin can be protected by his personal body guard. This unit is made up of Rageclaw Elite soldiers who have trained even harder to protect their prince. If Prince Kelvin is deployed with a unit of Rageclaw Elite, the unit gains + 1 attack to their profile.

Lord Unrich ----- 300
Lord Unrich was once a Knight in the Empire. He was on leave to see his newborn child when the Beastmen assaulted his home town. Before he could take up arms in defense of his village the sounds of war began to ring his his ears. He made it outside just in time to see the raiding

party destroyed by Wolf men. Unsure at first what to think, or do he kept himself armed as he approached the Wolfmen. After a short while he decided they were not a threat, and due to their valiant efforts his family was spared. He has since sworn fealty to the Lycans.

Unrichs Plate Unrichs Plate mail armor confers the normal 4+ armour save as well as a 4+ ward save. In addition the bearer may never suffer more than one wound from a single spell or attack. ```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` Shield of Light Crafted by the best Blacksmiths of the empire, and given power by the light wizards of the empire. The shield contains Birona's Timewarp As a bound spell power level 6. The spell can only target his own unit. Unrichs Blade Unrichs Blade was created by the Dwarves when Unrich helped protect them against the Orc assault on one of their encampments. Unrichs Blade confers +1 str There are no armor saves vs this weapon. Dragthahir Dragthahir is a barded empire steed.

In addition the armour conveys the always strikes first special rule to Felian.

Fierce Loyalty

When the lycans came to this land there were some unaliagned villages who were being assaulted by the beastmen. At first these people were scared of the lycans, however after watching them defend their villages they chose to ally themselves with the lycans, who are now for all purposes their protectors. On occasion the Lycans will ask for aide, and the villages happily give their best to the cause. Little more than farmers, these proud strong peasants are completely loyal to their protectors and would gladly lay down their lives to help those who protect their families. Fierce Loyalty So long as the general of the army still lives on the board the peasants use his/her leadership. They are also immune to panic so long as their leader still stands. The Moon Guard are the men who stand guard at the palace. They protect the queen, the prince(perhaps sometimes from himself) and the rest of the royal family.

Equipment Light armor Shield Spear The riders are villagers riding the wolves raised by the rageclaw clan. Very few villagers would be trusted enough to ride the more natural cousins of the Lycans. Those who are trusted enough must go through intense training to be allowed to do so.

May be given short bows for 2 points per model. Can be given Heavy Armor for 3 points per model, but loses the fast cav rule. May be given a lance for 2 points per model, but loses the fast cav rule. May be given leather barding (counts as barding) for 3 points per model but loses Fast cav rule. Barbing also slows the mount by 1.

Great Silver Wolves--------------------65 points per model

Some were affected a little differently than others by the magical affliction that created the Lycans. Some turned into slightly larger than man sized warriors, others more than tripled in size as the magic took over their bodies. This affect does more than mutate their bodies but their minds as well. Great Silver Wolves do not maintain as much of their once human mind as those who were less affected. Dire Wolf Chariot 175 points

The Chariot is manned by 2 Lycans and 3 Dire wolves. Causes impact 1d6+1 impact hits at strength 4. The chariot can be a mount for a Feral Lord.

The stone thrower is used by the peasants to help fend off the impending attacks from the beast men. It is manned by 4 peasants and has a 4+ armor save. Uses all rules for a stone thrower from the BRB.

Lycan Armory
Lycans cannot use weapons or shields, and thus cannot use magical ones either. You cannot chose those choices from th BRB either.

Armor

Celestial Plate-------- 85 points Plate armor. Confers a 4+ armor save that can be combined with all other armor as per normal. This armor also gives the bearer +d3 toughness on each round of combat.

Mithril Vest------------------50 points. Despite rumours, silver does not harm lycans. This vest is made of such strong metals so elaborately interwoven that it even deflects magic extremely well. This armor confers a 3+ armor save that can be combined with other saves as normal. This save is increased to 2+ when rolling to save vs Shooting, or magic missles.

Armor of Slumber--------- 30 points Heavy armor. If the model is in a challenge the enemy must make a ld test at -1 in order to allocate attacks towards the character. If this test is failed then the model may not attack nor make any parry saves.

Talisman

Talisman of the Bloodmoon--------------------75 points The talisman confers a 4+ ward save to the model wearing it, in addition all shooting done to the unit he is in will also be granted a 4+ ward save as well. This only affects shooting for the unit, but all attacks on the model.

Moonstone -------------------40 points This stone was taken from a meteor that crashed into the planet, not really sure what it was the Lycans believe it was from the Moon. The bearer of stone gains + 1 to his starting wounds profile.

Magic Banners

Blood Lust Banner------------ 85 points The blood lust banner gives the entire unit +1 to it's movement statistic,+1 ws ,and +1 attack. Should this unit ever lose combat the unit will suffers 2d6 str 4 wounds as they rip each other apart in their unnatural rage.

Banner of the claw------- 40 points Any unit with this standard will receive the armor piercing special rule.

Black Lotus banner------ 50 points Any unit with this standard will have the poisoned attacks special rule

Wild moon Lore

Signature spell Stars Gaze----- Casts on a 8+ Magic Missile with a range of 24 inches that deals 1d6 str 5 hits. Can be upgraded to 2d6 and a range of 36 inches for a casting value of 15+

Rabid Fury

casts on a 10+

Augment. Can be cast on a single unit within 18 inches. Gives one unit an extra 2d6 movement that can cause a charge. The unit can only choose to stand when charged in this fashion. Can be upgraded to a range of 36 inches but the casting value will be changed to a 13+ However when moving in this fashion will suffer dangerous terrain penalties as though they were calvery (Cannot be used to get a charge in the first turn of a game) Lunar Rage----- Casts on a 11+

Augment. This spell gives one unit within 12 inches +2 attacks to their profilefor one combat phase, however at the onset of the spell the unit suffers d6 str 6 hits that count towards combat resolution. Models who are already subject to frenzy only gain one attack to their profile, however do not suffer the d6 hit either.

Lunar Protection Casts on a 10+ Augment. This spell grants any unit within 12 inches a 5+ ward save. The distance at which this spell can be casts can be raised to a 24 inch range but the casting value increases to a 13+

Feral Courage Casts on a 11 + Augment. All friendly units within 24 inches of the caster will take any leadership tests on 3d6 take the lowest two until the casters next phase.

Primal Fury casts on a 15+ Augment spell with a range of 24 inches. Remains in play. The caster may cast this augment at any unit either engaged or unengaged in combat. The unit gains impact hits equal to the number of models in the front rank(that are in base to base with the unit), at the strength of those models. If a unit is already in close combat, but charged that round they will still be allowed the impact hits on that round of combat. This spell can be upgraded to affect all units within 24 inches but must be cast of a 24+

Full Moon Casts on a 18+ Augment. This spell can be cast on any unit within 18 inches of the caster, the unit will gain +1 attack, + 1 Strength, +1 WS, +1 Toughness, + 1 initiative, and be Stubborn on the current round of combat. If the unit is not currently in combat it must make an immediate charge(at the controlling
players unit of choice) just as though it was the charge subphase, then still benefit from these rules.
