Foundation: Frontiers in Integrative Biological Research Trinidad and Tobago Field Research Technician April 2011 - July 2011 *Worked at a remote tropical field station as a part of a team collecting data for a project investigating interactions between environmental and evolutionary changes of guppies in freshwater streams. *A mark-recapture study of six isolated populations of approximately 900 individual guppies each comprised a large portion of the work. *Tasks included: water chemistry lab work, aquarium maintenance, placing and reading elastomer marks in fish, data entry, working outdoors for long hours in rain, hiking several miles up and down steep hills and through streams while carrying up to 60 lb.
