Position Summary: Provide administrative, secretarial, and Child Nutrition Program support in the planning, implementation, and support of the Campus Director and students. Work assignments may be complex in nature where considerable judgment, tact, creativity and initiative are required in resolving problems and completing tasks. Typical responsibilities include compiling, organizing, developing, and reporting information relative to budget, inventory, training, maintenance, and support of operations. Qualifications: Education/Certification  One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience  0-1 year of experience as an Administrative Assistant. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
       

Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate good judgment and diplomacy. Ability to organize and correctly calculate claims for any meal program that is offered. Ability to type 40+ wpm. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Ability to maintain effective working relationships. Excellent computer skills using MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint). Excellent verbal and written communication skills with parents, teachers, staff, and the community. Excellent organizational and problem solving skills

Preferred KSAs
   

1+ years of progressive work experience in a school office environment. 1+ years of experience maintaining and supporting CNP for a public or charter school. 1+ years of experience maintaining and supporting a Principal. 1+ years of experience maintaining and recording attendance, truancy, and other official school documents.

Responsibilities and Duties: Communicate effectively with Parents, Students, and Campus Staff via email, telephone, fax, and in person. Organize and manage the meal program to follow federal and state guidelines. Prepare the daily and monthly reports and email or fax reports to Central Administration. Answer telephone to provide information, take messages, or transfer calls to the appropriate departments. Assist principal with truancy procedures. Maintain calendar of school events. Equipment Used: All equipment required to perform jobs duties and task previously described.
