VETERANS SUMMIT 2011 Talking Points for Interviews FREE EVENT for veterans and their familiesall they have to do is register so we will have a head-count Thursday, September 15th, 2011 9am to 4pm Laurel Manor in Livonia, MI at 39000 Schoolcraft Rd. Organized by The Canton Community Foundation with a grant from The Holbrook Charitable Trust. Sponsored by Legal Help for Veterans, PLLC, The Medical Team, and Arrow Strategies The goal is to provide a one-stop shopping experience for our veterans We will have experts in their fields discuss various VA-related benefits that veterans and their family members can qualify for. Employees of VA, private attorneys, veterans service officers, county counselors, and staff of veteran-centric non-profit organizations will be presenting on VA-related benefits Topics include: VA health care benefits, Aid and Attendance, VA disability compensation and nonservice-connected pension, VA burial benefits and the VA cemetery, VA fiduciary issues for individuals who are incapacitated or incompetent, VA e-benefits, traumatic brain injuries, women veteran issues, and the Wounded Warrior program Attendees will receive a free breakfast and lunch.
