Murphy’s Law really, if you skite to your mum about not being sick all year, it is inevitable that you will be sick the very next week (sigh). Also if you plant an awesome veggie garden (and thanks to the super building team Cody and John for making our gardens) the weather will turn to custard and blow your beans over (lucky we have plenty of extras). So we have had quite a quiet week this week, next week though is going to be a ripper with our Winter Tournament on Thursday. It’s an awesome event, so make sure you pop down to watch the Pukeokahu kids play. Now just a heads up for next term, since it is ‘allegedly’ spring time. Planted Juniors ;-)

We have scheduled our School Pet Day for Friday 18th November and our School Craft Day will be the day before on Thursday 17th November. We will have a similar format to last year, the more community participate the better. So Mums and Dads, you can start stocking up on pet lambs, goats, piglets, calves, chickens, dogs … Oh! And don’t forget to start thinking of your creations for the Dress Up Your Pet category! ;-p PTP Starts on Tuesday Just a reminder that the Year 7 and 8 students will be beginning PTP again next week. The bus is all sorted for them on Tuesday morning. Winter Tournament - Thursday 22nd September For Years 5 - 8 students. Hopefully we get better luck with the weather this time around. We meet in town at the skateboard ramp at 8.50am for the Powhiri at 9am. Let me know if your child needs transport. Pow Wow - Monday 19th September Everyone is welcome to join us at School at 7pm for Pow Wow. Our project is to make an apron for working in the Hall. So for this first night we will be embroidering the pocket … you will only need to bring your hand sewing tools and a blue tracing pen if you have one. If you have any questions phone Heather 3880762. School Skiing Trip The Mountain is closed today so our Ski Trip will be on the 29th September, fingers crossed.
