Welcome to Oak Grove Moravian Church today as we celebrate our 124th Anniversary. Oak Grove was organized as a congregation on September 25, 1887. We especially welcome visitors and invite you to worship with us again. Please fill out a blue card in the pew rack and place it in the offering plate. May God bless our service today. We thank him for preaching on this Anniversary Sunday. Congratulations to Georganne Reid and Jerry Lewis who are 50 Year Members this year. They will be presented with a certificate of recognition. After Worship we will take up a love offering for MVR (Moravian Volunteer Response) to help the recent hurricane victims. Everyone is invited to stay for the Covered Dish Luncheon which will be in the Fellowship Hall at 12:30. Next Sunday we will celebrate Worldwide Communion Sunday. The band will play a prelude at 9:15. Church Council will be held next Sunday, October 2 after worship. There will be no Sunday School except for the Preschool and Bible Explorers Classes. We will elect board and committee members. Please see Georganne Reid to sign up for CROP Walk, which will be Sunday, October 16 at the Coliseum Annex at 2:30 p.m. We will take
up a love offering to support our walkers on October 9 or you can make individual donations to CROP Walk and give them to Georganne.
