Underground
Adventure

Available throughout the year, this tour

takes you to unique sights of Iceland’s most
spectacular lava tube caves and craters.
We will enter through narrow cave entrances
and find they reveal extraordinary scenery
of colours and lava formations.

These beautiful, natural phenomenons

were created when the surface lava
hardened and the fluid lava continued to
flow in tubes underneath. You will also see
natural stalactites and many different rock
formations so this is truly an indescribable
experience.

The caves become wide and high and

in many places, the floor is quite even.
However, the trip can be quite difficult so
bring good walking shoes/hiking boots
suitable for uneven lava surface.

Respect for nature and safety are our main

concerns. There are NO handrails, lights
or any pre-installed tools in or around the
caves. We rely totally on the equipment

Þórsmörk

We begin this tour by driving over the

mountain Hellisheiði towards Selfoss. We
visit Seljalandsfoss waterfall and walk into
the rugged gorge of Stakkholtsgjá.

Our main attraction is Þórsmörk (i.e. Thor’s

Woodland), a nature reserve shielded on
three sides by glaciers and mountains.
There are a multitude of small gullies and
valleys, clad with low birch-trees that
create seemingly endless possibilities for
the nature lover.

The glacial melt-off forms rivers that have

to be crossed on the way to Þórsmörk and
some days the crossing is quite challenging
or even impossible. An innocent stream
can change in a matter of hours into a
thunderous torrent. Our skilled drivers are
very experienced in these driving conditions
and will take you safely across the river. This
trip is truly unforgettable for the nature lover
at the heart and ideal as a hiking trip.

not be possible to access Þórsmörk. Then Season: All Year around

called “The Pearl of the Central Highlands”.
We journey through the beautiful countryside
of southern Iceland. We proceed into the

Northern Lights
Mystery

Join us for a mysterious trip, on a dark night,

any time from the onset of autumn darkness
until the light nights of spring, we can
witness one of nature’s most spectacular
displays; the phenomenon which we call
the Northern Lights.

Far from the glow of the city, we hunt for the

elusive Northern Lights – also known as the
Aurora Borealis. Together we will search for
these magnificent auroras.

On a clear night, we may be lucky enough

to see the Northern Lights swirling in a wild
and carefree dance across the heaven in
dramatic shapes, colours, patterns and
sizes. The Northern Lights are visible from
September through April but can only be
seen on a clear night. Therefore, we reserve
the right to cancel this tour if the evening
sky is heavily clouded or weather conditions
are not favourable.
