PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS Created a rewards/recognition program that replaced an expensive, outdated one. The new program recognized and rewarded individuals for their accomplishments on the job, while reducing the monetary responsibility of the company. It resulted in a significant reduction of monetary cost and generated acclaim for its ability to effectively recognize people. The system was leveraged across many DOW sites world-wide. Designed a unique filtration system which reduced the load time on a trailer from 30 hours to 4 hours without any money being allocated to fund this endeavor. This in turn reduced costs and generated record level production. The system improved from zero profit initially to $20,000,000 profit in three years. Secured funding for a $500,000 project to modify defects on a process line that was averaging four hours of downtime in an eight hour period. After the funds were allocated and the modifications completed, the department ran for six months without any downtime and shattered production records for the year. The project was completed for 50% of original projections.
