MAINTENANCE COUNTER Purpose Setting Details/Precautions • The default setting is “0.”

To enter an appropriate counter value (0 to 9 9 9 9 9 9 ) as the tentative maintenance time.

0: Not counted Specify the setting on maintenance counter to “1” 1: Counted (The maintenance call disor “2”: If the maintenance life is reached, the play is given when the counter maintenance call (M1) or Tech. IU LIFE STOP MODE Purpose Setting Details/Precautions • The default setting is “CONTINUOUS.” CONTINUOUS: Enables copying. Maintenance call display is given. STOP: Disables copying. Tech. Rep. call display is given and the initiation of any new copy cycle is inhibited.

W hen the Supplies Life Count. reaches the life value, the IU life will be detected. The mode when the IU life is reached, is specified by this setting.

NOTE • The counter value is decremented until it reaches -9 9 9 9 9 9 even after it has counted 0 . In this case, however, no imag e q uality is g uaranteed.
