Version Hxx.38 Cartridge changer

13 Cartridge changer
There are 2 different operation modes at cartridge changing:

13.1 Cartridge changing simultaneously with filter changing:
This operation mode can be chosen in menu item “status times” (6.4.2) The cartridge changing takes place simultaneously with the filter changing. The times of changing are determined consequently by the work and pause periods. The start cartridge can be chosen at this operation mode. For the program sequence there are more possibillities available:

13.1.1 Continuous operation
Please choose the option “cont. kw. operation on” in the menu " General operation configuration” (6.4.3.2.1) The program changes the cartridges and filter until the magazine is empty.

13.1.2 Option "continue program"
If in menu “general operation configuration” (6.4.3.2.1.) the option “cont. kw. operation off” is chosen, only one cycle of the program is carried out. The program flows all 4 cartridges at one time and finishes the collection cycle then. The program can be continued with the option “continue program” in the basic menu (push key “F”). So the program is prolonged with one cycle.

13.2 Timed cartridge changing
The cartridge changing can be timed by the input of the times of changing (6.2. start program).

Version Hxx.38 Data recording with USB drive

14 Data recording with USB drive
Filter data, status messages and wind data are stored in the internal flash module of the control. Filter data, status messages or failure messages are stored in the logfile. The wind data in the wind file. Up to 10,000 entries are recorded per file.

14.3 Structure of the data files on the USB-drive
14.3.1 File name
The storage of the recorded data will be effected in following files. The file names exist of 2 parts. The first two figures indicate the type of data: DL... Digitel Logfile Filter data, cartridge data and status messages DW... Digitel windfile Wind data The second part of the data files is variable. This part has been either composed of an instrument ID- number or a fix DMCUunicum number. The instrument ID-number can be set up in the menu „Special settings“ (see xxx). If the instrument ID-number has been activated, the first five figures will be fitted into the file name: Example instrument ID- number on: Instrument ID-number = TESTABCD“ Log file - file name = DL_TESTA.dat Wind file – file name = DW_TESTA.dat If the instrument ID-number is switched off, the last six figures of the unicum number are fitted into the file name: Example instrument ID-number off: DMCU – unicum number = 0000001B3298 Logfile – file name = DL1B3298.dat Windfile – file name = DW1B3298.dat

14.1 Storing of data on the USB drive
With the plugged-in USB drive the recorded data are stored simultaneously on the internal memory as well as on the the USB drive. That is the reason why the USB drive can be removed any time. (Attention: please consider the mode removal USB ! See 13.2 Removal USB drive) After the removal of the USB-drive the control only stores the data records on the internal memory. By plugging-in the USBdrive anew the user is asked if all the recorded data should be stored on the USB-drive since this one has been unplugged. USB drive identified 0 save existing data on USB 1 save new data only

0

all data, since the last removal of the USB-drive, will be copied on the USB drive. Subsequently all data coming in after that, will be stored on the USB-drive. 1...only all new data coming in after the plugging-in will be stored on the USB-drive

14.2 Removal of the USB-drive
The USB-drive can be removed anay time by compliance with following instructions. To get into the program „Mode removal USB“ on the display the basic menu has to be visual. If you use one of the arrow keys, the display changes into the change-over mode: USB - drive Can be removed D ... return Now the USB-drive can be removed without data loss. After the removal of the USB drive for a few seconds following display appears:

14.3.1.1

Logfile DL_xxxxx.DAT

The data in the file DL_xxxxx.DAT are saved in a table. As separators between the columns, the Tab character (HT, 09H) is applied. The line break is activated using CR, LF. For example, after formatting on the HVS, the file looks as follows: Event pA [mbar] Date/ time Sampling time (min.) cM paM [mbar] TaM [°C]

15.1.2 Breaking off connection
The FTP – client can break off the connection and start a new one any time.

15.1.3 Contents of the FTP - server index 15.1.3.1 Status - file "status.dat"

14.3.1.2

Windfile DW_xxxxx.DAT

The data file DW_xxxxx.DAT is set only when wind measurement is activated. Data in the file DW_xxxxx.DAT are saved in a table. As separators between the columns, the Tab character (HT, 09H) is applied. The line break is activated with the use of CR, LF. After formatting on HVS, the file looks as follows: Date/time Wind direction Wind velocity Blast (m/s) (grade) (m/s) description Year, month, day, hour, minute, second Average wind direction Average wind velocity Maximum wind velocity during time of averaging

The status-file contains information concerning program status, current blower capacity, current pressure and temperature.

15.1.3.2

Failure indications - "err_file.log"

The failure indication -file contains occured faults such as overload, power breakdowns or blocked cartridge changer. Example:

Column Date/time Wind direction Wind velocity (m/s) Blast (m/s)

power cut from: Mo 14.02.09 14:09:20 until: Mo 14.02.09 14:09:23 Mo 14.02.09 14:15:26 Work

15 Remote DHA-80 via the
Internet:
The control system of the High Volume sampler DHA-80 includes a FTP - and a HTTP- server. The FTP - server enables a parameterisation of the High Volume sampler by transferring the INI - file. For the status check the FTP - server provides a status-, error- and data-file. Via the HTTP- server an easy remote control and a status request of the High Volume sampler are possible.

The contents of the err_file.log - files can be deleted by means of transmission of the file "del_err.txt" with contents "delete".

15.1.3.3

Protocol - file - "hvsdat.dat"

The protocol - file contains all filter data, status messages, settings which were set up for the logging. Example:
