Starting tomorrow and continuing through October 27, the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead Pumpkin Hollow returns, 10 a.m..-3 p.m., weekdays; 10 a.m.-4 p.m., weekends. For details, click here. Beginning at 7 p.m. tomorrow, all eastbound lanes of I-435 from U.S. 69 to I-35 will be closed until 5 a.m. on Monday. The entrance ramp from Quivira Road to eastbound I-435 will be closed at 9 a.m. tomorrow for staging of construction equipment. Beginning at 7 p.m. on October 7, all westbound lanes of I-435 will be closed from U.S. 69 to I-35 and will reopen at 5 a.m. on October 10. The Carondelet Heart Institute will host a groundbreaking ceremony, 4-6 p.m. tomorrow for the expansion of the St. Joseph Medical Center Building at 930 Carondelet Drive in Kansas City, Mo. To mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the official "Pinking" ceremony will be held at the J.C. Nichols Fountain on the Country Club Plaza at 10 a.m. on Saturday. AT&T is hiring nearly 100 employees in Kansas to accommodate growth in its U-verse television, broadband and voice service and other operations.
