WELCOME!
We extend a warm welcome to all who have come to worship and fellowship with us this morning. If you are a first time visitor with us, please take time to fill out a Welcome Card located in the pew rack and place it in the offering plate. Parents of small children (under age 3) may take them to our Nursery, where a caring staff will supervise them. We also have a Pre-School Program (ages 3-5) that runs during our Worship Service in the Church Time PreSchool Room. One of our ushers would be happy to help you locate either one of these facilities. Elementary School children are invited to take part in our KidZone program which starts after the first part of our Worship Service downstairs in the Vestry.

News & Events (Contd.)

Keyboard Needed The Worship Team is looking for a keyboard that they could use to enhance their ministry of music. If anyone has one that they would be willing to donate, please see Kevin or Heather. Automatic Debit Available Our church offers the option of monthly giving through automatic debit. This eliminates the need to catch up if one is away for a few Sundays and also assists the church in planning its budget. Envelopes are also available for weekly giving. If you would like more information, or are interested in participating in either of these ways, please contact the church office. Mens Group Canoe Trip Men's group fall morning paddle (bring your canoes or kayaks) Saturday Oct 15, 8:30 am at Lloyd and Linda Mitchell's home on Fletcher's Lake, 4255 Highway #2 Wellington. Coffee and muffins provided at end of paddle. Sign-up sheet in Foyer. Extra canoes, and paddling gear available on request, please note on sign-up sheet. An Explanation Of The 10:30 a.m. Advantage In March of 2011 Bedford Baptist had a visioning day involving the leadership of the church with approx. 50 people present. Out of that day came the suggestion that our Sunday morning services could be improved if we were to start at 10:30 am. It was reported that people's schedules are such that at 12:00 noon many people are looking for lunch and growing increasingly uncomfortable in staying. This was so favourably responded to by everyone that it was a determination by the pastoral staff, the Board of Deacons, and the Executive Committee to recommend this as our new start time. This began in the summer and was carried on into the fall.
