Immediately following the keynote presentation, the CLE program will showcase a panel of Indiana lawyers who are using social media effectively and ethically to market their practice. Catherine Sanders Reach, of Chicago, is the director of the American Bar Associations (ABA) Legal Technology Resource Center. She has provided practice technology assistance for lawyers for over nine years, including social media training. Reach serves on the editorial advisory board for Law Technology News and Law Practice Today. She spends much of her time traveling to national bar conferences, state and local bar associations and various other legal organizations to provide social media training. Most recently, Reach conducted a hands-on training session for the ABA House of Delegates at its annual meeting in Toronto.

Kenan L. Farrell, of Indianapolis, is the founder of KLF Legal, an intellectual property law firm. Farrell advises businesses, non-profits and individuals on a range of legal questions related to intellectual property, technology, new media and the arts. He is also an adjunct professor at the I.U. School of Law-Indianapolis, teaching a newlyoffered course titled Art & Museum Law. Each training session is limited to 20 attorneys. Its one thing to learn the principles of successful social media usage. Its a whole different thing to put them into action. If at one time you opened a Twitter or Facebook account, but didnt re-visit either for a long while, or if you simply have not taken that first step to create an account, this session will be of great value to you. In this hands-on training, you will learn how to create and administrate a Facebook page; learn about Facebooks privacy settings; how to customize your Facebook page; how to set up a Twitter account; how to track, follow and interact with potential visitors of your Twitter account; and much more.
