Alinsunod sa Presidential Degree noong kapanahunan ng Pangulong Ferdinand E. Marcos, ang baryo ay pinamumunuan ng tinyente del baryo. Napagkasunduan ng mga mambabatas n gang baryo ay pangalan ng barangay atpamunuan ito ng punong barangay kaya naman ito ay pinatupad agad n gating alkalde ng Santa Cruz na si Rufo Dela Borja. Ang Poblacion ay hinati sa limang barangay I, II, III, IV, at V. dito nagsimula ang Barangay II. Itoy nagsimulang pairalin o pamunuan ng punong barangay noong September 21, 1974. Ang Barangay Poblacion II ay may nasasakupang mga kalye, ito ay ang A. Mabini, Del Pilar, P. Guevarra, kamatoy, Manas, Aguerra at Alfonso. Muling nagkaroon ng batas na pinaiiral na ang bawat barangay ay kailangan apring mahati kaya ang barangay ay nagkaroon ng pitong Sitio I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII. Mga taong naninirahan sa barangay II, nahalal na mamuno sa barangay si G. Gaudencio Javier, Gng. Erlinda Gallado, G. Rico Ciriaco, G. Bernardo Reyes, G. Virgilio Meranio, G. Venacio Reinda at ang kasalukuyang namumuno ay si Kgg. Joseph D. Abrazaldo.

Ang poblacion ay hinati sa lamang barangay I, II, III, IV, V at dito nagsimula pairalin o pamunuan ng punong barangay nuong September 21, 1974.

Ang barangay II ay may nasasakupang mga kalye, ito ay ang mga A. Mabini, Del Pilar, P. Guevarra, kamatoy, Manas, Aguerre, Alfonso.

Muling nagraroon ng batas na pinaiiral na ang bawat barangay ay kailangan paring mahati kaya ang barangay ay nagkaroon ng pitong sitio I, II, III,

IV, at V, VI, VII.

Mga taong naninirahan sa barangay II, nahalal na mamuno sa barangay g. Gaudencio Javier, Gng. Erlinda Gallardo, G Rico Ciriaco, G. Bernado Reyes, G. Virgilio Meranio, Venancio H. Rienda, at ang kasalukuyang namumuno ay si Kgg. Joseph D. Abrazalso.

GENERAL DISCRIPTION OF BARANGAY POBLACION II
Barangay Poblacion II was created on September 21, 1974 by the enactment presidential degree 577. It is located in the center of the poblacion and is bounded on the south by Barangay I, on north by Barangay III, and on the eastern by Barangay San Pablo Sur. Barangay Poblacion has the smallest land area among the barangay in poblacion. There are 8 thoroughfares within the barangay that interlinked with the neighboring barangay. This entire road is cemented. Confined along these are varieties of business and establishment, which are the major sources of income of the barangay namely. 1. APOLINARIO MABINI STREET: with the length of 0.805 kilometer, located along this route the office of Santa Cruz Water District and two Auto Repair Shop and Dental Clinic, Carinderias and Mini Grosaries. 2. MARCELO H. DEL PILAR: with a length of 0.700 kilometer located along this route are the Ware House of the family of Ng Cha and two Auto Motor Repair Shop and Store. 3. PEDRO GUEVARRA AVENUE: with the length 0.630 kilometer located these route are the business establishment of the Ng Cha, Funeral Parlor, Dental Clinic, Grosaries Store, Dealer of Engine and Space Part Supply, Rural Bank, Insurance office, Dress Shop, Law Office, Carinderias, beauty Salon Etc. 4. JUAN CALLES STREET: with a length of 0.630 kilometer, located route is legal Division Office Department of Agrarian Reform. 5. KAMATOY STREET: with a total length of 0.307 kilometer, located along these routes are Stores and Dental Clinic. 6. MANAS STREET: with a total length of 0.154 kilometer, located these route are the Dental Clinic of Dr. Edwin Villanueva and Medical Clinic of Dr. Roasa and Stores. 7. AGUERRE STREET: with a total length of 0.161 kilometer, no business establishment along the route. 8.
